ITZY members Yuna and Chaeryeong recently joined comedian Kim Dae-hee for a meal of spicy hot pot, known as 'mala tang,' on his YouTube channel 'Kkondaehee.' The episode, titled 'Charming ITZY, Fun ITZY, Performance ITZY, Everything ITZY with a Meal of Mala Tang,' showcased the trio enjoying a casual dining experience.

During the video, Kim Dae-hee asked the ITZY members about their menu choices. Chaeryeong explained the 'mala tang' dish, noting that ordering it at level 0 means it comes without the spicy 'mala' flavor. Kim Dae-hee showed his considerate side by serving the food to Yuna and Chaeryeong himself.

Chaeryeong commented on Kim's kindness, saying, "You're very gentle," to which Kim replied, "People often misunderstand me." Chaeryeong admitted she thought he might be harsh, but Kim assured her, "I don't like harsh people."

As they enjoyed their meal, which included 'menbosha' and 'mala tang,' Kim suggested they introduce themselves. Yuna and Chaeryeong shared their names and mentioned they are part of the group ITZY. Kim acknowledged, "I've heard of ITZY," and inquired about their hit songs, given their six-year career.

Yuna and Chaeryeong performed their debut song 'Dalla Dalla,' which Kim recognized, saying, "I've heard this before. It was a hit from the start." He also noted that many ITZY songs sounded familiar to him.

Curious about their journey, Kim asked Chaeryeong if she always dreamed of being a singer. Chaeryeong shared her admiration for senior groups like Girls' Generation and Wonder Girls, which inspired her to dance at home. She also mentioned auditioning with her sister Chaeyeon.

Yuna recounted her unique discovery story, explaining that her family only had a TV in the master bedroom, so she wasn't initially interested in entertainment. However, during a 2015 music festival, she was scouted by JYP's casting team while looking for a restroom, leading to her three-year trainee period.
