After a long wait, the hearts of Park Bo-young and Park Jin-young finally align.

In the 7th episode of tvN's weekend drama 'Our Unwritten Seoul' (directed by Park Shin-woo, Nam Geon / written by Lee Kang), which aired on the 14th, viewers witnessed the heartfelt confession between Yumi-ji (played by Park Bo-young) and Lee Ho-soo (played by Park Jin-young), who were each other's first loves but missed the timing to confess. This touching moment brought warmth and excitement to the audience.

The episode achieved a viewership rating of 6.7% on average in the Seoul metropolitan area, peaking at 7.6%, and a nationwide average of 6.5%, peaking at 7.1%. It not only set a new personal record for the series but also ranked first across all channels in its time slot, both in the metropolitan area and nationwide.

In the 20-49 age demographic, which is tvN's target audience, the drama also topped the ratings across all channels, including terrestrial networks, solidifying its position as a healing drama for everyone. (Based on paid platforms including cable, IPTV, and satellite / Nielsen Korea)

Lee Ho-soo, realizing that Yumi-ji and Yumi-rae (both played by Park Bo-young) were living each other's lives, went down to Duson-ri to have a long conversation with Yumi-rae. Since the day Yumi-rae withdrew her internal report was the same day Lee Ho-soo visited the company as an external investigator, he believed that Yumi-rae gave up the report because of his presence.

As the confrontation between Lee Ho-soo, who wanted to reveal the truth, and Yumi-rae, who wanted to hide it, continued, unexpected news reached them. The twin's mother, Kim Ok-hee (played by Jang Young-nam), and Lee Ho-soo's mother, Yeom Bun-hong (played by Kim Sun-young), had fallen down the stairs and were injured. Yumi-rae immediately contacted Yumi-ji in Seoul, leading to a natural meeting between the twin sisters and Lee Ho-soo.

Yumi-rae informed Yumi-ji that Lee Ho-soo knew about their secret agreement and declared that they should stop switching lives. Remembering how she pretended to be Yumi-rae in front of Lee Ho-soo, Yumi-ji was overwhelmed with embarrassment and began avoiding him.

Lee Ho-soo, feeling hurt by Yumi-ji's intentional distance, understood her reasons for keeping secrets and patiently waited for the right moment. Their mutual affection, hindered by their consideration for each other, left viewers yearning for their confession.

Song Kyung-gu (played by Moon Dong-hyuk), a classmate who had watched Yumi-ji and Lee Ho-soo's missed connections since high school, encouraged Lee Ho-soo by saying, "There's no such thing as a perfect timing." Having regretted missing a chance before, Lee Ho-soo decided to express his long-held feelings to Yumi-ji.

Under the moonlit alley, Lee Ho-soo stood alone with Yumi-ji and, in a calm yet trembling voice, confessed, "I like you," adding, "A lot, for a very long time." Yumi-ji's eyes were filled with joy at Lee Ho-soo's tender confession, overcoming his fears to approach her first.

As romance blossoms between Yumi-ji and Lee Ho-soo, Yumi-rae finds herself drawn to Han Se-jin (played by Ryu Kyung-soo), a strawberry farm partner who shared similar pains. Despite knowing it was wrong, Han Se-jin encouraged Yumi-rae, saying, "Let's hold onto even a little bit of happiness, good things, and joy." Inspired by Han Se-jin's kind support, Yumi-rae began preparing to address her resignation and scandals she had been avoiding.

'Our Unwritten Seoul' continues to evoke poignant emotions through the growth of the twin sisters, who have hidden their vulnerabilities beneath their shells. The story of Yumi-ji and Yumi-rae, who are finding their true selves through their secret agreement, is eagerly anticipated.
