Korean actor Gong Myoung has taken on his first villain role in the Netflix series 'Mercy for None'.
Released on October 6, 'Mercy for None' is a noir action series that follows 'Kijun' (played by So Ji-sub), who returns after 11 years to uncover the truth behind his brother 'Giseok's (played by Lee Jun-hyuk) death. The series quickly gained popularity, reaching the TOP 10 list in 44 countries worldwide within just three days of its release, and securing the second spot in the global TOP 10 series (non-English) category.

Gong Myoung plays 'Junmo', the heir to the powerful organization 'Bongsan'. He expressed, "This is my first time playing a villain and doing noir action. From smirking at Giseok's funeral to killing people on a whim and placing a bounty to eliminate Kijun, Junmo's reckless behavior is on full display.

Gong Myoung also vividly portrays Junmo's cowardly bravado, as he yells in front of employees while being unable to stand up to his father, Bongsan (played by Ahn Gil-kang).
