Actor Kim Do-wan Rates His Action Performance in 'ONE: High School Heroes' at 60

On the 11th, an interview with Kim Do-wan, who plays the character Yoon-gi in the Wavve drama 'ONE: High School Heroes' (hereafter 'Heroes'), was held at the Post Tower in Yeouido-dong, Seoul. 'Heroes' is a drama about the top student Uigyeom (played by Lee Jung-ha) and Yoon-gi, who aims to utilize Uigyeom's innate fighting talent to form a masked group called 'Heroes' to overturn the hierarchy of school violence.
Kim Do-wan, who has mostly played sly characters until now, took on a new acting challenge with 'Heroes.' He shared, "This is the first time I've taken on a character that leads the story so proactively," adding, "There are many action scenes, so I worked hard to perform each scene well."

He mentioned his co-star Lee Jung-ha, saying, "I'd give Jung-ha 95 points," with a smile. Kim Do-wan added, "Jung-ha not only excels in action scenes but also has a great mindset. The filming conditions were cold and tough, but he never showed any signs of struggle and always maintained a positive attitude."
When asked how he managed to pull off such challenging action scenes, he simply replied, "I just worked hard." Kim Do-wan explained, "In action scenes, even a moment of lost focus can lead to accidents, so I was very careful. I practically lived at the action school, practicing over and over again."
