Actor Kim Il-woo Receives Wedding Support Promise from Lee Seung-chul on 'Groom Class'

Actor Kim Il-woo has received a promise of wedding support from Lee Seung-chul.

On the 167th episode of Channel A's 'Men's Life These Days - Groom Class' aired on the 11th, Kim Il-woo and Park Sun-young enjoyed a round of golf with Lee Seung-chul and Moon Se-yoon, sharing candid conversations.

Kim Il-woo and Park Sun-young met at a golf resort, exploring the luxurious accommodations. Kim joked, "I prepared this for Sun-young today. Live here~" to which Park Sun-young responded with a bright smile, gifting him a handmade golf club cover, saying, "I made one for both of us for today." Kim was delighted, exclaiming, "It's a complete couple item!" Later, while exploring the kitchen, Kim flirted, saying, "I want to be the dish that makes Sun-young shine."

In a sweet atmosphere, the two moved to a café where Kim introduced Park Sun-young to Lee Seung-chul and Moon Se-yoon, holding her hand and saying, "We even hold hands and stuff." Kim mentioned Lee Seung-chul's generous promise from his first appearance on 'Groom Class,' where Lee said, "If Il-woo gets married, I'll handle everything at the golf course." Lee responded enthusiastically, "As long as you get married~," heating up the atmosphere.

In a cheerful mood, the four engaged in a golf round with dinner on the line. Before the game, Moon Se-yoon presented a 'wedding car'-decorated cart, which Park Sun-young found memorable, taking a photo. Kim, who hadn't played golf in six years, was nervous, but Park Sun-young supported him like a personal coach, praising his form as "sexy." During the game, Kim had a birdie chance, and Lee and Moon shouted, "If you make it, get married!" Park Sun-young encouraged him, saying, "If you make a birdie, we should get married. Opportunities like this aren't common!" Unfortunately, Kim missed the birdie, humorously lamenting, "I almost got married."

The golf match ended with the 'Il-young couple' winning, and Lee and Moon treated them to a hearty dinner. During the meal, Kim shared the story of his first encounter with Park Sun-young 30 years ago on a movie set, where he found her charming and asked his manager for her number, only to be offered her manager's number instead.

Park Sun-young, unaware of this, was surprised. Kim recalled meeting her several times on set and growing closer during the variety show 'Burning Youth,' where she once applied sunscreen on his face, making him wonder if she was interested, only to see her do the same for other male cast members. Lee empathized, saying, "She does seem confusing," while Park Sun-young admitted, "I have some 'ambiguous' feelings too."

She expressed, "Sometimes it seems like he's approaching, but then he suddenly puts up a wall. I think he likes me, but sometimes it doesn't seem that way, so I stop myself." Everyone agreed, saying, "That's exactly what we mean," and praised her for sharing her thoughts.

Park Sun-young noted, "Everyone moves at their own pace, but he's always the same. Slow and steady!" Kim explained, "We've been like 'female friends,' so suddenly holding hands feels a bit..." Park Sun-young replied, "I can make the move," adding, "It's great being with good people and him," with a smile. However, during a 'telepathy quiz,' they surprisingly had no matching answers, leading Lee to humorously declare, "This couple won't work," and jokingly lamenting, "I spent money for nothing today," making Park Sun-young laugh.
