Park later admitted, "I felt like I was pitying my father for his blindness, and it made me feel ashamed and disgusted with myself."

He decided to start a publishing company for his father, who loves books. Park expressed, "I am the son of a disabled person. I had this terrible pity within me that made me feel ashamed and embarrassed. My father lived his whole life with discomfort, and I wanted to do something for him for the first time."
