Actress Sunwoo Yong-nyeo recently opened up about her struggles with maintaining her weight.
On October 11, the YouTube channel 'Sunpung Sunwoo Yong-nyeo' released a video titled "81-Year-Old Sunwoo Yong-nyeo's Guide to Spending Money Joyfully (+Outlet, Imjingak)."
In the video, Sunwoo Yong-nyeo drives her Mercedes to an outlet in Paju. She shared, "When I was acting in dramas, I prepared all my costumes myself. So, visiting outlets has become a part of my life. I started going after my husband passed away, so it's been 10 years." She added, "I like to go around lunchtime, have a meal first, and then enjoy window shopping."

Upon arriving at the outlet, Sunwoo Yong-nyeo remarked, "When I just look around, there's nothing I really want to buy," as she continued her window shopping. Spotting an outfit she liked, she entered a store and asked the staff, "What size is this?" The staff replied, "It's an XS size. I think it would fit you." Trying on the clothes, Sunwoo Yong-nyeo impressed everyone with her slim figure, which is hard to believe at the age of 81.

Later, Sunwoo Yong-nyeo visited a restaurant for a meal. She stated, "As you age, you need to eat meat for your muscles. I eat whatever I want." When the production team commented, "You seem to be eating more these days. Most elderly people can't eat this much," Sunwoo Yong-nyeo responded, "No matter how much I eat, my belly fat just disappears." She added, "It's a wonderful world. With all these great things available, it's a shame I'm already 80."

After her meal, Sunwoo Yong-nyeo visited Imjingak. She reflected, "During the war, many people died. Coming here makes me think a lot. North and South Korea are the same people, yet their environments are so different. Life in North Korea now is like how we lived 60 years ago."
She also mentioned her close friend Jeon Won-ju, saying, "Jeon Won-ju is also from Kaesong. The reason she's so frugal is because of her experiences. People who have suffered greatly tend to earn money diligently, but as you age, you should know how to enjoy life a bit."
In conclusion, Sunwoo Yong-nyeo expressed, "I hope to live by enjoying good food, wearing nice clothes, and seeing things I haven't seen before."
