Kang Ha-neul Takes a Stand to Protect 'Jeongje' Amidst Brewing Tensions

In the episode aired on the 9th, viewers witnessed Han Beom-woo (played by Kang Ha-neul), Jin Myeong-sook (played by Kim Shin-rok), and Shin Chun-seung (played by Yoo Soo-bin) joining forces to protect 'Jeongje' amidst a crisis. The episode garnered a nationwide viewership rating of 2.8% and 2.7% in the metropolitan area, according to Nielsen Korea.
Jin Myeong-sook sensed something amiss with Han Beom-woo's unauthorized absence and Mo Yeon-joo's unusual mistakes. Under pressure from Jin Myeong-sook and Shin Chun-seung, Mo Yeon-joo confessed that Han Beom-woo had deceived the 'Jeongje' family and stolen recipes, leading to a temporary closure of the restaurant. Seeking peace of mind, Mo Yeon-joo headed to a temple, trying to forget her feelings for Han Beom-woo.

With no other choice, Han Beom-woo bowed to Jin Myeong-sook and Shin Chun-seung, asking for their support to save 'Jeongje'. Despite his sincere plea, their wounded hearts were not easily swayed.
As Han Beom-woo spent time in despair, unable to protect 'Jeongje' alone, Jin Myeong-sook and Shin Chun-seung miraculously returned to his side. Joining them were the vegetable shop owner (played by Yoon Byung-hee) and the butcher (played by Lee Joong-ok), ready to fight against Chairman Han. 'Jeongje' was a cherished space not only for Mo Yeon-joo and Han Beom-woo but also for Jin Myeong-sook, Shin Chun-seung, and the villagers, who decided to trust Han Beom-woo's sincerity.

The head monk (played by Hwang Jung-min) noticed a change in Mo Yeon-joo, who began focusing on the happiness of those eating her dishes rather than just the cooking process. Having started cooking out of love, Mo Yeon-joo's experiences with Han Beom-woo and various events led her to care deeply about the diners' happiness. Additionally, knowing that Han Beom-woo's actions and emotions were genuine, there is growing interest in what decision he will ultimately make.
