Park Bo-gum's Daring Stunt to Save Kim So-hyun in 'Good Boy'

In a thrilling episode of JTBC's weekend drama 'Good Boy' aired on the 8th, Park Bo-gum's character, Yoon Dong-joo, showcased his love for Ji Han-na, played by Kim So-hyun, by throwing himself onto a moving vehicle to save her.

The episode featured an intense chase as Yoon Dong-joo pursued Min Joo-young, portrayed by Oh Jung-se, the mastermind behind a hit-and-run incident.

The head of the Special Investigation Team, Go Man-sik (Heo Sung-tae), received a tip-off that Min Joo-young, a customs officer, was behind a car smuggling operation. He instructed his team, "Sergeant Kim Jong-hyun (Lee Sang-yi) and Officer Ji Han-na, investigate the whereabouts of Eun Tokki and the Joseon people. Officer Shin, look into Yoon Dong-joo and CEO Oh Jong-gu. From now on, these are your partners."

Previously, Ji Han-na and Yoon Dong-joo shared their first kiss, leading to Dong-joo's frustration over the partner assignments. Despite his protests, Ji Han-na agreed to the arrangement, leaving Dong-joo bewildered.

Ji Han-na questioned Dong-joo's insistence on partnering with her, to which he struggled to respond under Kim Jong-hyun's watchful eye. Kim Jong-hyun expressed surprise at Ji Han-na's willingness to partner with him, but she clarified there were no ulterior motives.

Observing the interaction, Yoon Dong-joo volunteered to partner with Kim Jong-hyun, citing his desire to learn from the experienced officer. When asked why he joined the special team, Kim Jong-hyun admitted, "I still like Ji Han-na."

Yoon Dong-joo managed to divert Kim Jong-hyun's attention and teamed up with Ji Han-na. Their colleague, Jae-hong (Tae Won-seok), teased them about their potential romance, only to backtrack under Kim Jong-hyun's glare.

During a stakeout, Yoon Dong-joo accidentally triggered a car horn, nearly exposing them to the smugglers. Ji Han-na cleverly disguised them as a couple in an intimate moment, allowing the smugglers to leave them undisturbed.

Yoon Dong-joo smiled at their close proximity, but Ji Han-na warned him to "stop" and "return to normal."

Meanwhile, Min Joo-young, aware of the police investigation, expedited his overseas trip. However, the special team discovered his car in a container bound for Libya. Yoon Dong-joo and Kim Jong-hyun confronted Min Joo-young at the customs office, but he evaded capture by promising cooperation after his trip.

Despite Yoon Dong-joo's threat of arrest, Min Joo-young provocatively claimed that the victim's death was due to Yoon Dong-joo's actions, not his own.

As Min Joo-young attempted to flee, Yoon Dong-joo and Kim Jong-hyun pursued him but lost sight of him. The special team located the smuggled vehicles, prompting Min Joo-young to remark, "You've found them? You're making things difficult."

Spotting Min Joo-young heading towards Ji Han-na, Yoon Dong-joo, undeterred by Go Man-sik's concerns, declared, "To catch him, I must fly like a butterfly and sting like a bee," before leaping onto Min Joo-young's car, successfully apprehending him.

Despite the pain from his daring leap, Yoon Dong-joo confronted Min Joo-young, citing multiple charges and vowing to prevent his escape.

Ji Han-na, worried about Yoon Dong-joo's reckless actions, sighed, "Why are you smiling, you crazy fool?"
