Chef Jung Ho-young Faces Off in Independence-Themed Culinary Battle on 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears'

Chef Jung Ho-young exudes confidence as he prepares for a culinary showdown.

On the upcoming episode of KBS2's 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears,' Chef Jung Ho-young will face off against Chef Yeo Min, the son of renowned Chef Yeo Kyung-rae, in a cooking battle themed around independence fighters.

Airing on the 8th, the 309th episode of 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears' will feature Chef Jung Ho-young and Chef Yeo Min in a culinary duel to commemorate 'Patriots and Veterans Month.' Chef Jung, diving deep into the history of Korean independence, boldly declares, "If I lose, I'll hand over my event," sparking interest in the outcome.

During the episode, Chef Jung surprises everyone with his serious study mode related to 'Liberation.' However, when tasked with writing 'Republic of Korea' in Chinese characters, none of his staff get it right, leading to a shocking revelation. This prompts Chef Jung to jokingly declare, "From now on, call me 'Jung Ho-guk,'" only for a staff member to quip, "Ho-gu?" turning him into 'Jung Ho-gu' unexpectedly.

In the ensuing culinary battle with Chef Yeo Min, themed around 'Liberation,' Chef Jung proposes, "Let's reinterpret the foods that independence fighters might have eaten," heightening anticipation. Chef Yeo Kyung-rae impresses everyone by presenting Guo Bao Rou, a dish popular in Harbin where independence activist Ahn Jung-geun operated.
