SBS Show Unveils Secrets of Former Presidents in Special Episode

SBS's 'Wow! Really? This is the World' captivated audiences with its 'Presidential' special, revealing secrets of former presidents.

The episode aired on the 5th, featuring segments like 'Presidential Secrets,' 'Presidential Favorite Spots,' 'The Last Request of Presidents,' and the much-anticipated 'I Am a Multiple Personality' story, keeping viewers glued to their screens.

Hosts Jeon Hyun-moo, Baek Ji-young, Kim Ho-young, and Subin were joined by surprise guest Ji Sang-ryeol, introduced as the 'President of Comedy.' Ji humbly accepted the title and humorously revealed his ideal type as Melania Trump, the former First Lady of the United States. The studio buzzed with presidential stories, leading to the 'Presidential Secrets' segment. The first guest was Jang Jun-young, a tailor with 60 years of experience, who crafted suits for former President Moon Jae-in. He disclosed that Moon's legs were asymmetrical, requiring three times the usual tailoring effort.

Jang also shared a story about former First Lady Kim Jung-sook initially complaining about the fit of the suits but later praising them after comparing them to those of European leaders.

Shoe expert Kim Hak-jin, who made shoes for former Presidents Chun Doo-hwan, Roh Tae-woo, Kim Young-sam, Kim Dae-jung, and Lee Myung-bak, highlighted Kim Dae-jung's shoes as the most memorable due to the special cushioning needed for comfort. Optician Yoon Hyo-chan, who crafted glasses for former President Roh Moo-hyun, shared that the glasses cost around 600,000 won.

The episode also delved into 'Presidential Favorite Spots,' revealing stories about four buildings in Yeouido known as 'Presidential Election Hotspots.' The production team tracked down the former building owner's younger brother, Kim Young-do, who dismissed the notion of a 'lucky spot,' emphasizing the importance of good tenants.

The final segment, 'The Last Request of Presidents,' featured artists who painted portraits of former presidents. Artists like Kim Hyung-joo, who painted Moon Jae-in, and Lee Jong-gu, who painted Roh Moo-hyun, shared their experiences. Lee revealed he was paid 15 million won for Roh's portrait, while Lee Won-hee received 9 million won for Kim Young-sam's and 30 million won for Park Geun-hye's portraits.

The four hosts expressed satisfaction with the revelations, and Jeon Hyun-moo, gifted with a surprise portrait, declared himself the 'President of Entertainment,' promising to display the artwork prominently at home.
