Unexpected Twists in Romance on 'I Am SOLO' Season 26

The 26th season of 'I Am SOLO' has taken an unpredictable turn in its romantic developments.

On the episode aired on Wednesday, the 4th, the real dating show 'I Am SOLO' on ENA and SBS Plus revealed the shifting love lines of the 26th season through a new round of 'midnight dates.'

On the third night at 'Solo Street No. 26,' Jeong-suk and Young-ja went on a '2:1 midnight date' with Sang-cheol. Caught between the two seemingly close individuals, Young-ja expressed her interest, saying, "I know Sang-cheol is pursuing Jeong-suk. But stepping back isn't in my nature." She further emphasized, "His appearance is my style, and his direct approach to Jeong-suk is also attractive."

After the date, Young-ja shared in an interview with the production team, "I want to get to know Sang-cheol better before deciding my path," while Jeong-suk praised Sang-cheol's consideration, saying, "He didn't overtly favor me but treated us equally with manners." Surprisingly, Sang-cheol admitted, "I'm curious about Young-ja too."

After her midnight date with Young-soo, Ok-soon returned to the dorm and confessed to the other solo women, "Today wasn't great." Hyun-sook also expressed frustration, saying, "Why can't I speak in front of Young-ho?" Jeong-suk, visiting Sun-ja and Young-ja's room, speculated, "I think Young-ho gave me a look today because he didn't choose me," implying she still believes she's Young-ho's top choice. Sun-ja and Young-ja interpreted Jeong-suk's comments as a form of 'competition,' and after she left, they resolved, "Let's pursue Young-ho and Sang-cheol more directly!"

Kwang-soo, who mentioned in a pre-interview that he's been told he resembles actor Lee Min-ho, prepared porridge for Hyun-sook the next morning. After sharing the meal with the solo women, Hyun-sook had a '1:1 conversation' with Kwang-soo. She expressed her feelings, saying, "Since Kwang-soo is waiting for me, I feel like I should share what happened during the 'midnight date' and what I plan to do today."

Kwang-soo, moved by Hyun-sook's consideration, said, "I feel like she's thinking of me more than before," and shed tears. Hyun-sook also cried and later told the production team, "Maybe someone like him is what I need," but added, "That doesn't mean I want to date him. My feelings are gradually growing, but it's a curious experience for me."
