Korean Entertainer Lee Soo-ji Returns After 3-Week Hiatus Amidst Controversy

Korean entertainer Lee Soo-ji has returned to the spotlight after a three-week hiatus.

Lee made her comeback through her YouTube channel 'Hot Issue Ji' with a video titled 'Shubly Mom is Back.' In the video, she portrayed her alter ego, influencer Shubly Mom, in a skit about returning after a period of reflection.
She stated, "I've returned after a long period of reflection, which lasted three weeks," adding, "Three weeks is enough time for a seed to sprout and for a person to develop new habits."

Following her return, Lee faced a wave of negative comments. She responded firmly, saying, "There's a saying that a frog can die from a stone thrown without thought. I will no longer tolerate aggressive comments and will capture them as evidence."
In response to a viewer's criticism about her market being open during her hiatus, Lee retorted, "Would it have been better if I took consumers' money and disappeared? I will strive to be a responsible Shubly Mom who sees things through to the end."

She humorously added, "During my hiatus, I made sure to eat plenty of self-reflecting octopus, shrimp, and cockles," eliciting laughter.

Meanwhile, Lee Soo-ji recently won the Best Female Entertainer award at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards. She has gained attention for parodying various characters such as Daechi-dong Jamie Mom, influencer Shubly Mom, and Juicy Soo-ji on her YouTube channel 'Hot Issue Ji.'
