Wendy Captivates with Emotional Busking Performance on 'Bangpan Music'

On May 31st, Wendy appeared on the premiere episode of KBS2's new music variety show 'Bangpan Music: Anywhere' (hereafter 'Bangpan Music'), where she performed at Seoul's Kyungdong Market.

During the broadcast, Wendy delivered a warm and emotional rendition of Lee Sun-hee's 'Beautiful Rivers and Mountains,' enriching the atmosphere with her soulful vocals. She then captivated the audience with a powerful performance of Cherry Filter's 'Flying Duck,' showcasing her impressive vocal range.

Wendy also teamed up with rapper Hanhae for a duet of Cho PD's 'Friend (Feat. Insooni),' displaying a fresh chemistry. Despite it being their first collaboration, they delivered a high-quality performance that drew enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Initially appearing slightly nervous, Wendy quickly transformed into a commanding presence on stage as soon as the music began, impressing fellow performers with her artistry. Her unique emotional expression and live singing skills left a warm impression at Kyungdong Market.

'Bangpan Music,' featuring Wendy, is a Korean spin-off of KBS2's 'Nation's Singer.' It is a traveling music roadshow that brings performances to places in need of music across the country. The show airs every Saturday at 10:40 PM on KBS2.
