i-dle's Minnie Reveals Her Trust in a Personal Fortune Teller

i-dle's Minnie has expressed her deep trust in a personal fortune teller.

On the October 13th episode of the YouTube channel 'TEO Teo' web variety show 'Salon Drip 2', Minnie and fellow member Yuqi shared intriguing anecdotes related to superstitions.

During the show, host Jang Do-yeon asked, "In Korea, we have the concept of 'nine bad years'. Is it the same in Thailand and China?" Minnie responded with a smile, "I really love these kinds of stories. I'm almost an expert."

Minnie explained, "In Thailand, the number 5 is considered unlucky, especially at the age of 25. It's called 'Benjapet', and it's believed to bring significant changes or events. So, even though I got my driver's license, I deliberately didn't buy a car at that age."

Minnie further revealed that she has known a fortune teller since childhood, capturing the audience's attention. She said, "He even decided when I should buy a car. He's really accurate." Jang Do-yeon expressed surprise, asking, "Is he your personal fortune teller?" Yuqi chimed in, "It's amazing. He's so accurate it's almost eerie."

Yuqi added, "He predicted all our comeback dates accurately since our debut. Minnie talks about him so much that I started to believe it too. I wasn't one to believe in these things, but after hearing Minnie's stories, I thought there might be something to it."

Minnie also shared an episode related to a phone number fortune teller. She said, "I showed him my number from Thailand, and he guessed my personality accurately. Before our 'TOMBOY' comeback, he said if I changed my number, it would be a hit, so I did, and it was a hit." Yuqi responded with a laugh, "We worked hard for it."

Meanwhile, Minnie previously made headlines in 2022 on JTBC's variety show 'Knowing Bros' for her family's wealth. On the show, Minnie showcased her luxurious home in Thailand, and her grandparents are known to be part of the Thai elite, running a resort.
