Byun Yo-han Charms Audiences with His First Variety Show Appearance
Actor Byun Yo-han successfully completed his first venture into variety shows, showcasing his signature warmth and approachable charm.

Through tvN's 'Edward Lee's Country Cook' (directed by Kim Kwan-tae), Byun traveled across South Korea, visiting places like Gangwon-do, Andong, and Yeosu. He explored seasonal winter ingredients, reinterpreted traditional recipes, and shared the beautiful landscapes and heartfelt stories of local residents.

In each location, Byun met with local elders, displaying his friendly and witty personality. In Gangwon-do's Jeongseon, he proposed serving a special meal to the elders and warmly bid them farewell after they enjoyed the food. In Yeosu, he lightened the mood by affectionately calling a female diver 'nuna' (older sister).

Byun also showcased a unique brotherly chemistry with Edward Lee. During their first virtual meeting, Byun coined the nickname 'Gyun Hyung' for Lee and surprised him by greeting him at the airport upon his arrival. Throughout the journey, Byun played a vital role as Lee's assistant chef and the team's reliable elder, demonstrating perfect teamwork with Edward Lee, Go Ah-sung, and Shin Si-a.

Byun expressed, "I was both nervous and excited for my first variety show. Meeting the warm people and discovering the hidden beauty of places like Gangwon-do, Andong, and Yeosu was a joyful experience of Korean flavors. Building friendships with Gyun Hyung and the team and sharing precious moments will be unforgettable. I hope to cherish these memories and return with great projects. I sincerely thank the viewers for loving our journey."

Byun Yo-han is set to meet audiences again with the upcoming film 'Pavane,' which tells the story of three individuals who, unable to love themselves, find light in each other and confront life and love.
