Park Won-sook Reflects on Past Hardships and Lessons Learned

Veteran actress Park Won-sook recently opened up about her past experiences with divorce and financial struggles, admitting that she was once naive about the ways of the world.

On the October 14th episode of KBS 2TV's 'Park Won-sook's Living Together,' Park, along with fellow celebrities Hye Eun-i, Hong Jin-hee, and Yoon Da-hoon, shared their experiences of living together on Ganghwa Island.

Park expressed her happiness at seeing Hye Eun-i in a brighter state than six years ago. She remarked, "When people who have been hurt come together through this program, it seems like the emotional wounds can heal." Hye Eun-i agreed, saying, "It feels like I've discovered a new world." Park humorously added, "Hye Eun-i has been a top star since she was young. She faced challenges because she thought the world was easy."

In response, Hong Jin-hee asked, "Then why did you face challenges, unnie?" Park candidly shared that she went through two divorces due to her ex-husbands' business failures, which left her in debt. She lost her entire fortune and even had her appearance fees seized.

Reflecting on her past, Park said, "I did things my way without knowing anything. I was ignorant of the world. But I realized my mistakes quickly compared to what I didn't know," she added with a bittersweet smile.
