Rising Stars Jeon Jin-seo and Moon Sung-hyun Transition to Adult Actors with University Admission

Jeon Jin-seo and Moon Sung-hyun, both born in 2006, are making their mark as they transition into adult actors. Known for their roles as child actors for famous stars, they have built impressive filmographies and are set to attend Chung-Ang University, a prestigious institution known for producing talents like Kim Soo-hyun.

Jeon Jin-seo recently signed an exclusive contract with PEAK J, a new entertainment company founded by Shin Hyo-jung, who previously managed top stars like Bae Yong-joon and Kim Soo-hyun. Jeon debuted in 2012 and gained recognition for his roles in 'The Heirs' and 'The Legend of the Blue Sea' as Lee Min-ho's younger self. His portrayal of a young Lee Byung-hun in 'Mr. Sunshine' and a powerful performance in 'The World of the Married' as Kim Hee-ae's son established him as a promising talent.

The contract with PEAK J was serendipitous, as the company discovered Jeon during a visit to Seoul Performing Arts High School. A representative noted Jeon's strong presence, which led to further interest in his career and potential as an adult actor.

Moon Sung-hyun, who will be Jeon's peer at Chung-Ang University, is also gaining attention. Having graduated from Hanlim Multi Art School, he signed with FNC Entertainment, known for managing artists like FT Island and CNBLUE. Moon debuted in 2021 and has portrayed younger versions of actors such as Kang Dong-won and Kim Soo-hyun. His recent role in 'Won-gyeong' as the adult Yangnyeong Daegun was well-received.

While many young entertainers opt out of college to focus on their careers, Jeon and Moon's decision to pursue higher education is notable. Moon expressed his excitement about university life and the opportunity to enhance his acting skills through academic and practical experiences.

Moon shared that his extensive work over the past three years contributed to his successful admission to Chung-Ang University. With 17 projects completed and three more pending release, his dedication to his craft was a significant factor.

Both Jeon Jin-seo and Moon Sung-hyun have built impressive resumes as child actors and are now poised to further their careers as adults. Their decision to attend university reflects a thoughtful approach to their growth as actors, and their future endeavors are highly anticipated.
