TWICE's Dahyun Expands Her Horizons with Acting Debut on Screen and TV

Before her official debut with TWICE, Dahyun made a memorable appearance in GOT7's 'Stop Stop It' music video, captivating global K-pop fans with her fresh and radiant smile. Since her debut in 2015, she has been adored for her expressive performances and vibrant personality in TWICE's content and various TV shows. Notably, in September 2023, she showcased her potential as an actress with a mature and nuanced performance in DAY6 Young K's solo music video 'Nothing But'.
As TWICE approaches its 10th anniversary in 2025, Dahyun is making her film debut in 'You Are the Apple of My Eye' (directed by Cho Young-myung). She plays the role of 'Seon-ah', a perfect model student with a pure appearance and top grades, evoking the sweet emotions of first love. The film, set to release on the 21st, is a remake of a popular movie and tells the story of Jin-woo (played by Jinyoung) and his first love at eighteen, Seon-ah.

Recently, Dahyun confirmed her role in the new drama 'Love Me' (directed by Jo Young-min, written by Park Eun-young & Park Hee-kwon, produced by SLL & How Pictures). She joins a star-studded cast including Seo Hyun-jin, Yoo Jae-myung, Lee Si-woo, Yoon Se-ah, and Jang Ryul, promising a fresh synergy with her seasoned co-stars. In her first drama role, Dahyun will portray 'Ji Hye-on', who realizes her long-standing friendship has unknowingly turned into love.
As Dahyun takes her first steps as an actress, she is expected to bring fresh energy to various projects and continue her steady acting career.
