Korean comedian Pungja has made a shocking revelation about her ex-boyfriend, claiming he stole a 500,000 won (approximately $500) deposit from her.

On the October 17th episode of SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny' (hereafter 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2'), Pungja appeared as a special MC.

Pungja, who made her terrestrial TV debut on 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' three years ago, also won the Rookie Award at the 2023 MBC Entertainment Awards. Wearing a striped shirt, she humorously noted, "I wore a similar outfit to when I appeared in a VCR three years ago. I wanted to show that I can wear it even if it's not stretchy."

MC Seo Jang-hoon commented, "I heard you've made enough money to move to Hannam-dong." Pungja replied, "One of my dreams was to live in Hannam-dong if I made good money." When asked if her new home had a yard, she confirmed, "Yes." Pungja admitted, "I moved there because I wanted to, even though it was a stretch." The footage of Pungja's home revealed a spacious yard and a grand living room. She also purchased a new car.

Kim Sook asked, "Don't you date a lot?" Pungja responded, "I'm a collector of bad relationships." She continued, "I've had instances where I moved on, and there was someone who stole my deposit," shocking everyone.

Pungja explained, "In my previous rental, they asked for a deposit increase. I put 500,000 won in an envelope, and it was taken." Kim Gura exclaimed, "That's not just a bad relationship; that's theft!"

Pungja confronted her then-boyfriend, but he only denied the theft, saying, "I didn't steal it." Pungja humorously recounted, "He kept denying it, so I just hit him once with a guitar that was at home." The studio audience burst into laughter at Pungja's unique form of justice.
