Influencer and Stylist Lee Hee-chul Passes Away at 40: Tributes Pour In

Lee Hee-chul passed away suddenly on the 7th of this month at the age of 40. The cause of death was reported as a heart attack. Despite his active career in broadcasting and business, he had no known serious health issues, making his sudden passing even more tragic.
His last social media post, dated December 31, 2024, has drawn attention. In it, he reflected on a challenging year, expressing hope for a healthier and more grateful 2025. "2024 was a tough year for me, both physically and mentally," he wrote. "I hope 2025 will be filled with health and gratitude."
Comedian-turned-businessman Jinju shared a photo of Lee's portrait, expressing her sorrow: "My dear Hee-chul, you were so beautiful. What about our promise to go to the Philippines for your birthday next year? I miss you so much already. Please don't be in pain where you are now."
Comedian Kim Young-hee also expressed her shock, saying, "This is so sudden. My heart aches. Rest in peace." Model Song Hae-na shared, "I miss you, oppa." Broadcaster Park Seul-gi lamented, "This is unbearably harsh. I hate the reality we have to accept. I'll come soon to send you off warmly." Dal Shabet's Serri and actress Choi Yoon-young also paid their respects, wishing him peace in the afterlife.
Lee Hee-chul gained recognition through his appearances on shows like 'Mr. House Husband 2' and his YouTube channel 'Lee Hee-chul's Vlog'. He also ran a pub in Apgujeong, Seoul, and worked as a photographer and visual director.
His funeral is being held at Soonchunhyang University Hospital Funeral Hall in Seoul, with the service scheduled for the morning of the 10th. He will be laid to rest at Suwon City Crematorium.
