Lee Min-ho Opens Up About Marriage and Ideal Partner on YouTube Show

Lee Min-ho recently shared his thoughts on marriage, revealing that his ideal partner is someone 'natural.'

On the 6th, the YouTube variety show 'Jjanhyung Shin Dong-yeop' released an episode titled 'Gong Hyo-jin and Lee Min-ho {Jjanhyung} EP. 74: I'll Give You All the Words You Like, Brother. Here, Sperm, Sex! Min-ho, You're Just Like Me!!' The episode featured Gong Hyo-jin and Lee Min-ho, stars of the tvN weekend drama 'Ask the Stars.'

Gong Hyo-jin, while talking about her husband currently serving in the military, mentioned, "After I got married, Min-ho often said he was 'jealous.'" Lee Min-ho confessed, "Marriage could be one of the most important choices in life, beyond career or work. I'm contemplating it intensely. I'm not sure yet."

Gong Hyo-jin shared about Kevin Oh's proposal. When she looked at the two married MCs while talking, Lee Min-ho humorously remarked, "You shouldn't talk about that while looking at them. You should look at me. If there's another proposal, it could be a big deal." Gong Hyo-jin promised, "I'll help you with your proposal, don't worry. I'll make sure she's a good woman. Women should be judged by women." Lee Min-ho nodded, saying, "I trust you."

MC Shin Dong-yeop asked, "What kind of woman do you want to meet?" Lee Min-ho replied, "Someone natural. A person who is true to themselves is attractive." He added about Gong Hyo-jin, "In that sense, I like Hyo-jin's style. If she wants to grumble, she grumbles; if she wants to nag, she nags. It's natural. From the first time I met her, I felt that she fundamentally respects and considers others, allowing me to be myself without harming anyone."

Gong Hyo-jin revealed, "I'm currently searching for Min-ho's partner with my eyes wide open." Lee Min-ho acknowledged, "She's working hard to find someone for me." He continued, "I rarely talk on the phone for more than five minutes, but when I talk to her, it lasts two hours. Usually, I listen to her concerns for about 1 hour and 50 minutes. The conversation also touched on Lee Min-ho's dating style. Gong Hyo-jin laughed, "He claims he's good at it." Lee Min-ho admitted, "I'm a romantic." He explained, "When I get fixated on something, I have to see it through. If I feel affection for someone, I have to pursue it to the end." Gong Hyo-jin added, "His endurance is short, but he gives his best." When Shin Dong-yeop commented, "The word 'endurance' can be misleading," Gong Hyo-jin scratched her head, saying, "Oh..." Lee Min-ho humorously added, "Another kind of endurance," with a confident expression, causing laughter. He joked, "Should I aim for about 5 million views?"

Shin Dong-yeop advised, "I always tell my juniors not to drink excessively and repetitively but to meet people who do different things." Lee Min-ho shared, "I've only started meeting people for a few years. In my 20s to early 30s, I seemed to pursue isolation. Meeting people often led to disappointment. I need people who allow me to be myself naturally and comfortably. If I go out for dinner and feel uncomfortable and not myself, it leaves a bad taste."

Lee Min-ho reminisced about his past hit drama 'Boys Over Flowers.' He said, "After the first episode, my mini homepage was flooded with all sorts of curses because I bullied Geum Jan-di. The first episode was all about bullying. My mini homepage, which usually had a few thousand visitors, suddenly had 500,000 to 600,000 visitors, all leaving curses." He continued, "After the second episode, the hatred turned into affection."
