Disney+ original series 'Moving' is set to return with a second season.
On November 21, The Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific (APAC) hosted the 'Disney Content Showcase 2024' at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The event offered a sneak peek at upcoming theatrical releases and streaming projects for 2025-2026, featuring top global stars from the U.S. and the Asia-Pacific region.
On the second day of the event, Disney unveiled its lineup of general entertainment and original content from Korea and Japan.
Carol Choi, Head of Original Content Strategy for The Walt Disney Company APAC, expressed pride in the works released over the past three years, with particular emphasis on the series 'Moving.' She described 'Moving' as an action fantasy centered on themes of friendship, family, and human relationships, presented in a fresh way. Since its release in 2023, the series has won numerous awards and was nominated for Best Drama at the Critics' Choice Awards. It is also the most-watched Disney local original series worldwide. Choi stated, "We can't stop here," and announced that they have begun working on 'Moving' Season 2 with creator Kang Full. She added that more detailed updates will be shared as the project progresses.
During the two-day 'Disney Content Showcase 2024,' Disney introduced upcoming theatrical releases and streaming projects for 2025 and beyond. The event featured trailers and exclusive footage from Disney's global creative studios, as well as new Korean and Japanese content. Over 500 journalists and partners from 12 countries in the Asia-Pacific region, including Korea, attended the event alongside top global stars.
