Lee Jun-hyuk Shares Experience Working with Han Ji-min in 'My Perfect Secretary'
Actor Lee Jun-hyuk recently shared his thoughts on working with Han Ji-min in his upcoming project 'My Perfect Secretary'.
On the 15th, Lee Jun-hyuk met with TenAsia at a café in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, to discuss the TVING original series 'Good or Bad Dong-jae'.
'Good or Bad Dong-jae' is a spin-off of the popular series 'Stranger', where Lee Jun-hyuk captivatingly portrays the character Seo Dong-jae. As the first attempt at a long-form spin-off in Korea, Lee's performance has been praised for its depth and engagement, proving that the role was tailor-made for him. When asked about the differences between working on genres like thrillers and romance, Lee humorously remarked, "The set always feels like a construction site. I've shot many scenes in such environments, surrounded by sand, corpses, and dust." He added, "This time, there were no outdoor scenes with corpses, and there was less dust." Lee candidly shared, "Work is work. It's not bad; it's fun and precious, though challenging. Ultimately, it's all quite similar."
Regarding his on-screen chemistry with co-stars, Lee commented, "It depends on whether I've only seen them in projects or have known them as colleagues. Han Ji-min is a senior and someone I admired as a fan, so it was surreal to work with her on set. I thought, 'Wow, it's Han Ji-min, and she's right here!'" He continued, "It was amazing. She's incredibly famous, and there's so much to learn from her. She's both strong and gentle."
Reflecting on his career, Lee said, "I've been in this industry for nearly 20 years. It's just work; nothing is particularly special." He added humorously, "I feel pressure at work but don't avoid it. I think everyone feels the same. I get anxious hearing the alarm in the morning or when I receive calls at dawn." His candid remarks brought laughter to the interview.
