Seo Ji-hye Captivates Viewers with Her Charming Role in 'Assembled Family'
Seo Ji-hye is making waves with her role in the youth romance drama.

In JTBC's Wednesday drama 'Assembled Family,' Seo Ji-hye plays Park Dal, a character who still cherishes her first love from high school, captivating viewers with her unique charm.

Park Dal (played by Seo Ji-hye) became best friends with Yoon Joo-won (played by Jung Chae-yeon) during high school and has secretly harbored a crush on her brother, Kang Hae-jun (played by Bae Hyun-sung). Even when the oblivious Kang Hae-jun mistakenly thought she liked Kim San-ha (played by Hwang In-yeop) and when he left for the U.S., Park Dal never confessed her feelings, keeping her unrequited love buried deep inside.

Park Dal is the only one who knows about Kang Hae-jun's pain regarding his mother, a secret he couldn't share with Yoon Joo-won and Kim San-ha. Her pure-hearted empathy, shedding tears for Kang Hae-jun's sorrow, has touched many viewers.

Ten years after their incomplete first love, Kang Hae-jun moves in next door to Park Dal, who is now Yoon Joo-won's roommate, adding excitement to the story. Despite becoming a lawyer, Park Dal still feels shy around Kang Hae-jun, reminiscent of her high school days, adding to the romantic tension.

Park Dal's actions, such as drunkenly complaining to Kang Hae-jun, who still treats her like a younger sister, and asking him to pretend to be her boyfriend on a blind date arranged by her mother, suggest that her crush is still ongoing. Viewers are eagerly rooting for Park Dal to finally confess her feelings.

Seo Ji-hye brings depth to her character's storyline, from her nostalgic romance with Bae Hyun-sung (Kang Hae-jun) to her close friendship with Jung Chae-yeon (Yoon Joo-won) and conflicts with her mother. Her calm and sincere presence adds vitality to the drama, leaving audiences eagerly anticipating the next episode.

'Assembled Family' airs every Wednesday at 8:50 PM with two consecutive episodes.
