Former KBS Announcer Lee Jung-min Transitions to Spa CEO: A Journey of Friendship and Family

Lee Jung-min, a former KBS announcer, has taken on a new role as a spa shop CEO.

Tonight at 8:10 PM, Channel A's 'Best Friends Documentary – Table for Four' will feature an episode with Lee Jung-min. In this episode, Lee invites her close friends, fellow announcers Kang Soo-jung and Park Eun-young, and broadcaster Hyun Young, to her home in Seocho-gu. Together, they share a special bond as 'super working moms' who balance both career and family. Lee will showcase her culinary skills by preparing a variety of Western dishes, including herb salt chicken, lasagna, pasta, and open sandwiches for her friends.

During the episode, Lee Jung-min reflects on her decision to leave KBS two years ago, where she worked for 17 years as a 31st class announcer, to pursue her new venture as a spa shop CEO. She recalls the moment she decided to resign, saying, "I thought about it for a long time. I was able to resign thanks to my husband's support and encouragement," expressing her deep affection for her husband. Her husband, an ENT doctor, and their two children make a surprise appearance, showcasing their happy family life.

Adding to the entertainment, Park Eun-young, a former junior announcer at KBS, shares amusing anecdotes about Lee's past. Park reveals, "Even when Lee was extremely busy at KBS, she was actively dating. I was most curious about who she would marry. She considered both looks and personality, which is probably why she ended up with her current husband," leaving Lee momentarily flustered. Lee then explains, "I only went on blind dates," and shares her love story of marrying her romantic husband after just six months, earning the envy of her friends.

The four friends engage in heartfelt conversations about marriage, childbirth, and the challenges of being working moms. Lee Jung-min opens up about her struggles with late pregnancy and health issues, revealing that she underwent ten rounds of IVF to have her second son, Park Si-on, who is now three years old. Park Eun-young also shares her own childbirth story, recounting the difficulties she faced when her first son was in a breech position, requiring a 'breech version' procedure.

Hyun Young shares a story about her friendship with Kang Soo-jung, who is currently living in Hong Kong, which began during their time on the KBS variety show 'Heroine 6.' She recalls how she noticed Kang's secret romance at the time, saying, "One day, Soo-jung started carrying a luxury bag. And after filming, she would disappear like a bullet. That's when I figured it out." Kang Soo-jung adds humor by revealing, "I bought that bag on a 10-month installment plan, and my husband misunderstood that I liked luxury bags, so he bought me several," sharing a funny anecdote from her dating days.
