Actor Lee Jong-won Praises Kim Se-jeong at 'Intoxicating Romance' Press Conference
Actor Lee Jong-won showered Kim Se-jeong with praise.
On the 4th, a press conference for the ENA drama 'Intoxicating Romance' was held at the Stanford Hotel in Sangam, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Director Park Sun-ho, along with actors Kim Se-jeong, Lee Jong-won, Shin Do-hyun, and Baek Sung-chul, attended the event.
'Intoxicating Romance' is a romantic drama about Yong-joo, a 'super passionate' sales king at a liquor company who hides his emotions, and Min-joo, a 'super sensitive' brewery CEO who catches emotions as part of her daily life. Director Park Sun-ho, known for his exceptional direction in numerous romantic comedies such as 'Business Proposal' and 'Suspicious Partner,' teams up with rookie writer Lee Jung-shin to deliver another addictive romance. Lee Jong-won, who plays the role of the delicate 'ale' like brewmaster Yoon Min-joo, spoke about the charm of working with Kim Se-jeong, saying, "This is my first time doing a romantic comedy in a modern setting. I felt a great sense of stability while acting with Se-jeong. We were able to share many opinions on the romantic aspects I was trying for the first time."
He added, "Like the character in the work, Se-jeong led me in many parts. Thanks to those aspects, we were able to navigate through various difficult scenes much more smoothly." Lee Jong-won expressed his gratitude, saying, "In many ways, I feel that she is like a vitamin on set. She never loses her smile, making her feel like a 'perpetual motion' friend."
'Intoxicating Romance' is set to premiere on the 4th (Monday) at 10 PM on ENA and will also be available simultaneously on Genie TV and Genie TV Mobile.
