Kwon Eun-bi Struggles with New Slang 'Neujo' on SBS Running Man

Kwon Eun-bi, a singer born in 1995, struggled to understand the meaning of the new slang term 'Neujo'.

On the SBS show 'Running Man' aired on the 22nd, a race involving QR codes at every moment for prize money took place. Kwon Eun-bi and Jonathan appeared as guests on the show.

The final mission of the day was a new concept name tag race using QR codes. Members who scanned the opponent's QR code had to shout the correct answer within 15 seconds in front of the person they scanned. If they answered correctly, 10,000 won was added to their total, and the QR code disappeared.

Kwon Eun-bi, participating in the game, guessed 'slowly liking' as the answer to the question about the meaning of 'Neujo'. She told her teammate Yoo Jae-suk, "I can only guess it means 'slowly liking'. Let's match our pace; I'll approach slowly," she said with a smile.

Previously, in April 2019, Jang Won-young, who appeared on KBS2's variety show 'Happy Together 4', mentioned the generation gap with IZ*ONE leader Kwon Eun-bi, who is nine years older, saying, "When we talk about comics, the generation gap is evident."

Yoo Jae-suk posed a question to Haha and Jonathan: "What is the name of the textbook used by monks in the Goryeo Dynasty, which is also the world's first metal-printed book?" Jonathan immediately shared the answer, "Jikji Simche Yojeol," with Haha.

Finally, Yoo Jae-suk, Kwon Eun-bi, Haha, and Jonathan gathered in one place. They continued the intense game, aiming for the QR codes on each other's backs to answer correctly. Song Ji-hyo and Yang Se-chan also joined in.

Kwon Eun-bi asked her teammate Song Ji-hyo if she knew the meaning of the slang 'Neujo'. Jonathan immediately recognized the answer and laughed, saying, "How can you not know this?" Haha seized the opportunity to answer Yang Se-chan's question but failed to get it right.

Quickly, Yang Se-chan scanned Haha's QR code and got a chance to answer 'Neujo'. He shouted, "Neomu Joa (I like it very much)," but it was incorrect. With repeated wrong answers, the members betrayed each other to survive alone. Eventually, even team leader Jonathan betrayed his team, but the result of the betrayal was an 'out', causing laughter.

After the mission ended, the final rankings based on the total R-money held were revealed. Haha took first place, Song Ji-hyo second, and Yoo Jae-suk third. The remaining members chose QR codes to determine the person who would receive the penalty.
