Broadcast personality Kim Byung-man is making a comeback with the new jungle survival show 'Survival King: Tribal Wars'.

Premiering on October 7th at 10 PM on TV CHOSUN, 'Survival King: Tribal Wars' features Kim Byung-man, who has explored numerous remote areas and earned the title 'King of the Jungle' in the comedy world, returning to the jungle after four years. In the teaser video, Kim Byung-man expressed his confidence, saying, "It feels like coming home. After several years, I'm back... I'm confident in the jungle."

'Survival King: Tribal Wars' is a survival entertainment show where 12 elite members, divided into four teams—Physical, Jungle, Military, and National Representative—survive in a remote jungle for 10 days, competing in three rounds to determine the 'Ultimate Survivor'. The show will feature 'sportainers' and fighters such as Choo Sung-hoon, Kim Dong-hyun, and Netflix's 'Physical 100' winner, Amoti.

The first teaser video, released amid high anticipation for 'Survival King: Tribal Wars', revealed new challengers including idol-turned-actor Kim Dong-jun, wrestling gold medalist Jung Ji-hyun, Olympic swimming gold medalist 'Marine Boy' Park Tae-hwan, 'Steel Troops 3' winner Kang Min-ho, and rising track star 'Track Karina' Kim Min-ji. Contestants will engage in intense survival competitions, utilizing their skills in hunting, gathering, swimming, and building shelters. The teaser also hinted at wild, muddy wrestling matches. Former UFC fighters also caught attention in the teaser, with Kim Dong-hyun breaking coconuts and Choo Sung-hoon catching birds with one hand, showcasing their survival prowess.

Meanwhile, Kim Byung-man expressed concerns, saying, "Aren't they special forces and medalists... It's the first time I've felt insignificant in the jungle." There was even a moment of crisis when team members worried, "Isn't it dangerous for Byung-man hyung?" during sea swimming. However, in the next scene, Kim Byung-man demonstrated his tree-climbing skills honed in numerous remote areas, declaring, "I've come this far... I have my pride." He confidently added, "Age doesn't matter; I'll show that 'mindset is important'."

TV CHOSUN's new entertainment show 'Survival King: Tribal Wars' premieres on October 7th at 10 PM.
