Actor Im Chae-moo has expressed his deep affection for his second wife.

On the 9th, tvN STORY's 'Chairman's People' featured Kim Young-ran and Im Chae-moo, who played the couple in 'Country Diary,' visiting Yangchon-ri.

Im Chae-moo is in his eighth year of remarriage with his current wife. He shared, "I went to the bathroom to dye my hair and applied the dye. It was hard to dye the back of my head. I got frustrated and the floor was covered in dye. I sat down and cried, realizing how lonely it was to live alone, which led me to decide to remarry."

Im Chae-moo revealed that he decided to remarry just a week after meeting his wife on a blind date. He recalled, "A friend told me there was a good woman around, so I said, 'Please hurry, it's urgent.' A woman walked towards me in the parking lot, and I thought she looked great and that I would like to marry someone like her. It turned out she was walking towards me."

He continued, "We met the next day for our first date. Most restaurants were closed, and the only open place was a kimbap restaurant. She was fine with it. I proposed on our first date, and we had a kimbap roll for our meal. After that, I took her to my house and said, 'Let's live together.' Even now, she jokes that she fell for me over a kimbap roll without even a single flower. She says she doesn't regret it and considers it a beautiful memory."

However, after remarrying, Im Chae-moo faced significant financial difficulties. He built 'Dooly Land,' a children's amusement park near Seoul, but struggled with its operation.

He confessed, "When I started the amusement park, I sold two luxury apartments in Yeouido, each 67 pyeong. With nowhere to go, we lived in a bathroom at Dooly Land, which was like a swimming pool. We placed two military beds there and lived. It might seem sad and miserable, but love blossomed from that time. Being close, we shared our hearts. Even now, I would live there again if I had to. Our love has deepened."
