Gabi Embarks on a 72-Hour Journey as a Mexican Band Member
In the 10th episode of 'My Name is Gabriel' (hereafter referred to as 'My Name is Gabriel'), airing tonight at 10:30 PM, viewers will see Dex heading to Georgia and Gabi beginning her life as a band member in Mexico City. The new stories of Gabriel unfold in this episode.
Gabi, a dancer known as the extroverted representative of 'EEEE,' learns she will be heading to Mexico City, the capital of Mexico. She exclaims, "Totally my style," unable to hide her excitement. Gabi shows her professional side by packing over 10 wigs in two suitcases to immerse herself in another's life.
However, upon arriving in Mexico City, Gabi discovers that her new identity is male. She exclaims, "I'm a man! I don't know how to live as a man," falling into a state of confusion. It turns out that during a pre-interview with the production team, she had emphasized, "I wish I were born a woman." Given her meticulous preparation, Gabi's reaction to the unexpected gender change adds to the immersion.
Gabi's encounter with her Mexican 'father' also draws attention. Upon meeting him for the first time, he tells her, "You were a kind and good boy," almost indoctrinating her into the gender change, causing laughter. Amidst the continuous awkward situations, Gabi humorously remarks, "I actually had altitude sickness when I arrived, but it's completely gone now," making everyone burst into laughter.
After a brief moment of confusion, Gabi begins her life as 19-year-old band member Uciel. Despite never having played the drums before, Gabi must perform with the band in a plaza. Although it's her first time, Gabi takes the stage with confidence but faces a crisis when a group blocks the front of the stage during the performance. The arrival of the police heightens the tension, making viewers curious about the full story.
The episode also features Dex's journey to Georgia, where he starts his life as a jar maker named Lati. In a rural village of Georgia, a country he had never heard of before, Dex begins a 72-hour self-sufficient life, from making cheese to chopping wood. Dex appears overwhelmed by the unexpected workload. Additionally, he shows his flirtatious side by giving morning kisses to his Georgian 'parents,' increasing curiosity about his 72-hour experience.
