Veteran actors Lee Soon-jae and Park Sung-woong are set to portray a father and son duo in the upcoming KBS 2TV drama 'Dog Sound'.
Scheduled to premiere on the 25th, 'Dog Sound' is a situational comedy that follows the lively and audacious growth journey of seniors and a former police dog named 'Sophie'. The series promises a humorous and bold narrative.
The drama features an ensemble cast of legendary actors including Lee Soon-jae, Kim Yong-gun, Ye Soo-jung, Im Chae-moo, and Song Ok-sook, who are collectively known as the 'Senior Avengers'. The story unfolds on Geoje Island, where these seasoned actors, along with Park Sung-woong, Kim Ji-young, Lee Soo-kyung, and younger talents like Yeonwoo, Nam Yoon-soo, and Gongchan, navigate various incidents. The unique premise of human-dog collaboration in investigations has already garnered attention.
In the series, Lee Soon-jae plays a once-beloved national actor who has fallen from grace, while Park Sung-woong portrays his son, Lee Ki-dong. The father-son duo, who once relied on each other for a stable life, find their relationship strained due to an unexpected event that forces them apart. The intriguing backstory of their fractured bond is a key point of interest.
Recently released stills show Lee Soon-jae and Park Sung-woong engaging in a game of hide-and-seek on Geoje Island. Park's character, Lee Ki-dong, settles as a caretaker at a pension, only to discover that his father is nearby. Unaware of his son's presence, Lee Soon-jae's character narrowly misses encountering him, leading to a series of comedic near-misses.

The production team commented, "The dynamic between the fiery-tempered father and his gentle-natured son, along with their invisible chase, adds another layer of intrigue to 'Dog Sound'. We hope viewers will appreciate the stellar performances of Lee Soon-jae and Park Sung-woong, as well as the unexpected twists in their story."
