Choi Sooyoung Spreads Positive Influence at the 10th Harmony Marathon with Visually Impaired Individuals

Actress Choi Sooyoung is spreading positive influence. She participated alongside Super Junior's Eunhyuk, SHINee's Minho, WJSN's Dayoung, and Jonathan.

On the 31st of last month, the '10th Harmony Marathon with Visually Impaired Individuals' (hereafter referred to as the 'Harmony Marathon') was held at the Peace Plaza in Olympic Park. The 'Harmony Marathon' is an event organized by a group for the visually impaired, where visually impaired individuals, as well as those with physical, auditory, and developmental disabilities, team up with non-disabled individuals in pairs for a walking competition.

Choi Sooyoung, who has been consistently participating in the 'Harmony Marathon' for three years since 2022, has been actively promoting participation through her social media, striving to improve awareness about disabilities. Choi Sooyoung stated, "I hope the 'Harmony Marathon' continues as it allows visually impaired and non-disabled individuals to communicate and cooperate to move forward together," adding, "All sponsorship and participation fees are fully used for improving mobility rights for the visually impaired and for research funds to prevent blindness, so I would appreciate it if many people continue to show interest."

Having long been an ambassador for the Foundation for the Prevention of Blindness, supporting research for the treatment of rare diseases, her meaningful actions continue to serve as an inspiration to many.

Choi Sooyoung is set to make her solo debut in Japan. Her debut single 'Unstoppable' began pre-sale on August 29th at 6 PM and will be released on October 30th. To commemorate this, the 'SooYoung Solo Debut Showcase ~Unstoppable~' will be held on October 26th at Ebisu Garden Hall in Tokyo. Details regarding album purchases and showcase participation will be announced through Sooyoung's stage.
