Honey J Shares Heartfelt Story About Jay Park and Her Journey as a Working Mom
Honey J recently shared a touching story about her experience with Jay Park, drawing significant attention.
On the 20th, the YouTube channel 'VIVO TV - 비보티비' uploaded a video titled 'Ride in a Car with Lovely Honey J After Giving Birth.' In the video, dancer Honey J appeared as a guest and engaged in various conversations with Song Eun-yi. Honey J opened up about the challenges of being a working mom, stating, 'Being a working mom is incredibly tough. I knew that being a mom was great from the moment I got pregnant, but being a working mom is even more amazing.' She added, 'Fortunately, my husband has a job that allows him to adjust his schedule. He works as a model, so we almost live like co-parents. However, he works abroad. When he's in Korea, he tries to take care of the baby as much as possible to accommodate my schedule.'
Honey J continued, 'When my husband is on a business trip abroad, I rely on my mother. Thankfully, she often comes to help. She'll be here again tomorrow night,' and added, 'We really need to be good to our moms.' She also shared, 'Recently, there was a 'Waterbomb' event. I performed on stage as Jay Park's dancer for the first time in three years. After my success on 'Street Woman Fighter,' Jay Park told me, 'Now that you're a main artist, don't dance behind me anymore. Raise your value.' I was really grateful for his words.' Honey J reflected, 'I had been a dancer for nearly ten years. Suddenly, thinking about not doing it anymore felt like losing my job. I even cried. I took great pride in that work. Even though I was on stage as an artist's dancer, I always thought of it as my stage and gave it my all.' She concluded, 'While I was grateful, I was also very upset because I couldn't do what I loved. I didn't even watch any performances for three years. After that time, there were so many updates. It was really tough to keep up. I felt the need to perform together at 'Waterbomb,' so we decided to do it. After making that decision, I got a lot of work.'
She added, 'I needed time to quickly practice and update myself. Since it was 'Waterbomb,' I also needed to be in good shape. Although I had recovered a lot after giving birth, it still wasn't enough. I managed to update myself in just 2-3 days while handling many schedules.'
