Actor Cha Seung-won returns with a coolness that will even cool down the heat.

Cha Seung-won plays the role of Sang-im, a janitor who tries to remove obstacles to the Tyrant program in the Disney+ original series 'Tyrant', which is scheduled to be released a day before, and presents a trustworthy 'Cha Seung-won' style chase action thriller.

Lim Sang-won, a former agent who spent his entire life working for a government agency, is naive in his daily life after retirement and meticulous yet ruthless when it comes to eliminating forces related to the tyrannical program. Cha Seung-won will skillfully portray the character's three-dimensional aspects with his signature control of intensity, delivering unpredictable tension.

In the previously released trailer for the character of 'Tyrant', Cha Seung-won left a strong impression by adding coldness and fear with threatening words that contrast with his polite tone, such as "I really hate having to say it twice" and "Please die. Stop it", while impactfully portraying the contradictory and extreme duality of the character.

Cha Seung-won has become a hot topic for being known to have performed most of the action scenes in this production, which features a lot of action scenes, without a stunt double. At a production report meeting held on the 15th of last month, Cha Seung-won revealed, “Although I had a stunt double, there were slight differences in movement, so I tried to perform them myself as much as possible with the help of the martial arts team.” During filming, it was reported that he easily handled a heavy shotgun and showed fantastic action chemistry with Ja-kyung (played by Jo Yoon-soo) in a one-on-one fight, raising expectations for the high-intensity action scenes he will show.

Ahead of the release of the new series, Cha Seung-won expressed his anticipation, saying, "I hope you enjoy this hot summer with the series 'Tyrant,' which is more 'dramatic' than 'stimulating.'"

The Disney+ original series 'Tyrant' will air all four episodes simultaneously on the 14th.
