Chansung Hwang "2PM is the identity of my life"

2PM member and actor Chansung's classic fashion pictorial has been released.

In the pictorial released in the August 2024 issue of the fashion entertainment magazine 'The Star', Chansung showed off his alluring yet dreamy charm with the theme of 'unknown space, perspective beyond'. In the published photo, Chansung captured attention with his new charm, wearing a classic outfit, leaning comfortably on the sofa, or making a strange expression.

Hwang Chan-sung, who previously debuted in the 2006 MBC sitcom 'Unstoppable High Kick', was loved by many as the youngest member of the group 2PM in 2008. In 2022, she married a man 8 years older than her and had a daughter in her arms the same year.

Regarding the drama 'Us, Home', which recently ended, he said, "The lingering feeling of the last meeting that I felt in the script remained even more clearly in the live broadcast, and I thought, 'I had a really good experience.'" He then went on to say, 'Noh,' played by actress Kim Hee-sun. Regarding the role of 'Noh Young-min', Young-min's younger brother and a cheerful childish guy, he said, "On set, Hee-sun treated me as if I were her real younger brother, so I was able to act much more comfortably. “Even though I was a junior, I felt like I was cared for like a younger brother, so I filmed all the scenes comfortably and happily,” he said, sharing an anecdote about filming.

It has been 18 years since she debuted in the sitcom ‘Unstoppable High Kick’ and has been both acting and singing. Chansung expressed his thoughts, "It feels much shorter, but a lot of time has already passed. A lot has happened in the meantime, but I will continue to move forward, and I hope to always be happy with the people I work with."

Chan-sung, who has obsessions and worries about things that others don't know, confessed, "Because this job itself is about finding naturalness, I feel like I have a bit of tension in my daily life. It feels like I'm feeling and saving my daily life."

Chansung said, “My happiness index these days is 10 out of 10,” showing his special affection for 2PM. “I have a lot of affection for the team. It is the biggest turning point in my life and my identity,” he said. He then left a message of support to member Junho, who was preparing for his work, making the staff on set laugh.

Chansung Hwang chose ‘organizing his mentality’ as his way to overcome his slump. It is easier to think of a slump as something that comes before growth. He added that if you think about this kind of slump, ‘I will grow further,’ you can overcome difficult times. As for future plans, he asked for interest, saying, "I will prepare for my next work and show a different side of myself from acting, such as activities in Japan and fan meetings."
