A conflict broke out between Jang Gwang and his son.
Jang Gwang's family appeared on TV Chosun's entertainment show 'Daddy and Me' that aired on the afternoon of the 10th.
Jang Gwang's daughter Mija married Kim Tae-hyun and moved away, and often visits her parents' home. Her son, Jang Young, is an actor and is currently attending graduate school for youth counseling and working several part-time jobs.
Jang Gwang expressed his affection for his daughter Mija, saying, "She is indispensable. We are like friends who tell each other everything." On the other hand, he was somewhat cold about his son, saying, "We are not very close. There are many times during the day when we don't say a word." Jang Young said, "'At home, I do everything on my own, but I take care of my older sister to the point where I feel like it's too much. I also resent my father a lot. Jang Young also expressed his dissatisfaction with his strict father. Jang Young said, “When I perform, my mom says, ‘It’s better than last time,’ and my dad says, ‘Is that true in that scene?’ “Isn’t it okay to say that after everything is over? There are times when I’m so discouraged that I don’t want to come,” he said, adding, “Don’t do anything, get rid of everything.”
At that time, Jang Gwang was talking to Mija. Jang Gwang revealed the reason why he was strict with his son, saying, "As a father, I wanted him to work hard and do everything when he was young. I feel like he doesn't put in that kind of effort." He continued, "If you think it's right, you'll do it until the end," and "I want to raise him well and make him a good student, and that's what I became greedy for, so I forced myself to do it."
Mija expressed regret, saying, "Only my father knows (that feeling). My family and I know, but the person who experiences it is in the form of scolding and scolding." Jang Gwang, who watched the audition program, said, "When you're in the top of the list, don't the fathers come last?
