Lee Yong-sik revealed that he was not opposed to his daughter and son-in-law dating.
Comedian Lee Yong-sik, his daughter Lee Su-min, and son-in-law Won Hyuk appeared on KBS 2TV's 'Let's Live Together with Park Won-sook', which aired on the 4th.
Lee Yong-sik's daughter Lee Su-min and trot singer Won Hyuk got married last April. Ahn Moon-sook said, “I’ve never seen a wedding with that many people.”
Lee Su-min and Won Hyuk went on a honeymoon together with both of their parents. Hye-eun scolded Lee Yong-sik, saying, “Are you following there without paying attention?” Lee Yong-sik said, “I thought you would scold me like that.” Wonhyuk explained, “We went there once with our parents, and then we went on a proper honeymoon to Hawaii together.”
Wonhyuk is living with his wife’s family. Park Won-sook shouted at Lee Yong-sik, “Why are you living together? It’s your obsession with your daughter.” Lee Yong-sik expressed his resentment, saying, “I heard a lot of different things from here and there saying that I was getting married with my daughter and her husband.” Wonhyuk revealed that he had decided to join the group. Lee Yong-sik recalled his first meeting with his son-in-law. Lee Yong-sik said, "The first time I saw my son-in-law was when Sumin and I came out of the studio after finishing filming and were waiting for a taxi when a tall man greeted us from across the street. I asked my daughter, 'Why are you greeting us?'" He continued, “Sumin’s face turned red and she said, ‘This is the boyfriend I’m seeing these days.’” It is said that Lee Yong-sik became stiff in the unexpected situation and was at a loss for words.
Ahn Moon-sook asked, “Have you noticed your daughter’s love life at all for the past two years?” Lee Yong-sik explained, "I think I hid it because I thought he didn't like me or that I was shocked. I really wanted to date him for a long time, but I wasn't opposed to dating."
Lee Yong-sik said, “My daughter likes this guy, so how can I object?” and “When I go to the morning broadcast early, Won-hyuk comes into my house with Sumin at dawn, and the three of us have a delicious breakfast.” He also said, “Even if it was a local filming, it was a sumptuous feast for just the three of us.” When Hye-eun said, "I must have felt betrayed," Lee Yong-sik laughed and said, "It's not just a feeling of betrayal. Wonhyuk publicly proposed to Lee Soo-min during a trot audition program. Regarding this, Lee Yong-sik said, "Su-min called me and said, 'Dad, be sure to come in by 10 o'clock today. I have something to tell you.' As I came in at 10 o'clock and washed up and came out, a man on a trot audition program confessed, 'I love a woman.' “He said,” he recalled.
Lee Yong-sik grumbled and laughed, saying, "I was annoyed, but Sumin's mother next to me had a happy expression on her face. I can't forget that expression."
