Actor Ryu Soo-young, who has extraordinary cooking skills, revealed the story of giving a lecture on Korean food at Stanford in the United States.

Ryu Soo-young appeared in episode 248 of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' (hereinafter referred to as 'You Quiz'), which aired on the 12th. Previously, Ryu Soo-young announced that she would be giving a lecture on Korean food at Stanford University in the United States. He explained, "There is a Korea-related conference held every year at the Stanford Institute for East Asian Studies. This year, the theme was 'K Food.' I was invited as a chef and gave a lecture and a cooking class."

He said he felt that the status of Korean food had increased. Ryu Soo-young said, "Korean food is a very hip cuisine, especially in California. If you don't know Korean food, it feels old-fashioned," and added, "I've shopped at six different places, and everywhere I go, there's red pepper paste."

Ryu Soo-young reported that he was developing a menu for a restaurant in front of Company G. He drew attention by saying, "The development of the menu is a huge undertaking. A restaurant said they wanted to create a summer-only menu and I was advised to create a recipe. I made a flounder steak with red pepper paste sauce."
