'Dominant Species' is set in 2025 when Yoon Yu-yu (played by Han Hyo-joo), the CEO of BF, a biotechnology company that opened a new era of artificially cultured meat, and Woo Chae-woon (played by Joo Ji-hoon), a retired officer-turned bodyguard who intentionally approached her, die mysteriously. A suspense thriller drama about getting caught up in events and chasing the truth behind it.

Han Hyo-joo takes on the role of Yoon Yu-yu, the CEO of BF, the world's best biotechnology company, and grabs the audience's attention as a businessman who attracts social attention. As the person who opened the era of artificially cultured meat, he is a person who receives attention from all walks of life and at the same time receives threats from those who oppose it on a daily basis. In this process, he becomes involved with his dedicated bodyguard Woo Chae-woon to protect his BF and himself, and the dangerous atmosphere between the two people's doubts and beliefs maximizes the immersion of the work.

Han Hyo-joo plans to add tension to the play by delicately portraying Yoon Ja-yu's charismatic and strong CEO, as well as the various emotions that make her suspicious of those around her amid threats to herself. This can also be confirmed in the appearance of Yoon Ja-yu in the released stills. The sight of him conveying his message to someone with a serious expression in front of the desk and walking while surrounded by media, his expression of incomprehensible intentions and the sight of him wearing special goggles, stimulate curiosity about what big threats and situations Yoon Ja-yu will face. .
