Lee Sook said about the reason she became an actor, "I joined CBS Radio as a voice actor. But I thought the radio world was too small for me, so I thought about entering a broadcasting station." Lee Sook is said to have passed the 8th round of MBC's public recruitment.

Lee Sook revealed an anecdote where Choi Bul-am, who was a member of the National Assembly at the time, came to pay condolences at her husband's funeral. Lee Sook said, "Senior Choi Bul-am came to the funeral wearing a National Assembly member's badge. During the conversation, I suddenly asked, 'I'm sorry, but please lend me that badge.' He looked puzzled and took the badge out. I placed the badge on my husband's portrait and said, 'Heavenly kingdom.' He said, 'Don't just be a member of the National Assembly, become president and spread your intentions.' When I gave it back, Choi Bul-am vehemently refused it. I was rude to him," he said, thanking Choi Bul-am.
Lee Sook works alone without a manager. Park Won-sook asked, “What should I do if Lee Sook is needed for an event?” Lee Sook showed off her courageous side, saying, "I don't have an office, a manager, a coordinator, or a driver. I do everything by myself. I don't need to. I drive. I can travel 4 hours away."
Regarding her current status, Lee Sook said that since the end of the KBS weekend drama 'The Real Thing Has Appeared', she has been attending various events and volunteering at the Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
