Actress Hwang Hyun-jung captured the attention of viewers with her perfect villain role in 'Pyramid Game'.

Hwang Hyun-jung is playing the role of Kim Da-yeon, the leader of class 5 of the second grade, in the TVING original series 'Pyramid Game' (directed by Park So-yeon, written by Choi Soo-yi, creator Jae-gyu Lee, produced by Film Monster and CJ ENM Studios, provided by TVing), which was released on the 29th.

'Pyramid Game' is a story about a cruel survival ranking war in which the students in Baekyeon Girls' High School's second-year class 5, where outcasts are selected by secret ballot once a month, are divided into perpetrators, victims, and bystanders and gradually fall into violence. Kim Da-yeon, who appears with the sound of a flute, induces fear with just the sound and captivates viewers with her intense eyes and unstoppable acting.

Da-yeon Kim takes the lead in bullying the F-ranked class. If you look at the facts alone, she is a villainous woman, but her eyes are not that simple. Kim Da-yeon, who stimulates the viewer's interest with an atmosphere that seems to be waiting for another twist, added strength to the narrative of the play by revealing that she suffered from domestic violence in the last episode.

Hwang Hyun-jung digests the narrative of evil with the acting skills she has built up while appearing in 'Juvenile Judgment' and 'Benefiting Fraud', and is like Kim Da-yeon herself, with her sharp eyes, strong impression, and solid line delivery skills. The ability to make the atmosphere around him scary with just his menacing eyes and low voice without any evil is a highlight of his acting ability, which is unusual for a rookie.

Hwang Hyun-jung raises the tension and immersion of the play by expressing the coexistence of dual emotions through delicate acting, such as being somewhat subservient in front of Baekyeon Group's granddaughter Baek Ha-rin (played by Jang Da-ah) and even cruel when bullying an F-grade student. Interest and anticipation are gathering in Hwang Hyun-jung's acting, which three-dimensionally portrays a character who goes between extremes of emotions.

Meanwhile, since her debut as Ok-ran in KBS2's 'Okran Myeonok' in 2018, Hwang Hyun-jung has been attracting attention as Han Ye-eun, the real culprit of the Yeonhwa Elementary School murder case who suffers from delusional disorder, in Netflix's 'Juvenile Judgment', and as Cheon Woo-hee's role as a teenager in tvN's 'Benefiting Fraud'.
