Oh My Girl's Seunghee and Kim Tae-ri are classmates

Girl group Oh My Girl's Seunghee appears in tvN's new drama 'Jungnyeon'.

On the 19th, her agency WM Entertainment announced, "Seunghee is taking on the role of Chorok in the drama 'Jeongnyeon' and is attempting her second major drama. We ask for your interest."

The drama 'Jeongnyeon', based on the Naver webtoon of the same name, depicts the growth and growth of Jeongnyeon (played by Kim Tae-ri), a girl born with a gift for singing, right after the Korean War in the 1950s.

In the play, Seung-hee plays the role of Cho-rok, a research student who joined the Maeranguk Theater Company through an audition along with Jeong-nyeon (played by Kim Tae-ri). Chorok hates and bullies Jeongnyeon, but when you get to know him, he is a cute character who is secretly simple and easy to be read by others. He will play the role of licorice and add to the fun of the play.

Seunghee is said to show enthusiasm for this work, learning the sound and concentrating on preparations for several months before filming, as it is a work depicting the story of Yeongseong Gukgeuk Troupe. In addition, last year, he challenged himself with acting in a drama for the first time through KBS2's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Oasis', and left a mark on viewers as an actor by performing everything from delicate emotional lines to vivid character expressions.

Meanwhile, the drama 'Jungnyeon', in which Seunghee has confirmed her appearance, is scheduled to air in the second half of the year.
