In the 12th episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'My Demon' (directed by Kim Jang-han, written by Choi A-il), which aired on the 6th, a secret related to the past lives of Do Do-hee (played by Kim Yu-jung) and Gu-won (played by Song Kang) was revealed. The tragic deaths of Wolsim (played by Kim Yu-jeong) and Lee Seon (played by Song Kang), who dreamed of an equal world without discrimination and were building a romantic relationship, broke the hearts of those watching. Guwon was afraid that Do Do-hee would become unhappy after hearing the meaningful words of an old woman (played by Cha Cheong-hwa) that ‘fate repeats itself’. However, Do-hee's conviction that even misfortune would be shared led to a determined heart for salvation.

All the hidden stories of Do Do-hee and Gu-won's past life were revealed. Guwon's previous life, 'Lee Seon', was a member of the third generation of the most prestigious family and a person who was respected and loved. ‘Lee Seon’ fell in love with ‘Wolsim’, a sword dancer, at first sight. Even though I was embarrassed by being a gisaeng, I couldn't hide my feelings for Wolsim. And Ethan changed. While he was interested in studies he had no intention of pursuing, he tried to meet Wolsim by pretending it was a coincidence and watched him from behind. Wolsim also didn't just dislike Lee Seon. That's how the two developed feelings for each other.

They began arresting those who believed in Cheonhak, claiming that they were spreading irreverent beliefs, and Lee Seon's father, who found out about the relationship between Lee Seon and Wolsim, blamed everything on Wolsim. In order to protect Lee Seon, Wolsim lied and said that the 'cross necklace' was originally his, and ended up dying. Lee Seon, who heard the news late, was driven into madness by unbearable sadness. The sight of Lee Seon killing people and choosing to go to hell was sad and heartbreaking.

Gu Gu was confused after awakening to her past life memories. And it soon led to anger. Guwon asks the homeless woman about her guilt about her past life, where the price of her faith was a cruel death. “Are you afraid of a repeat fate? That's why the tattoo moved. The old woman’s words, “I am so entangled that misfortune will repeat itself,” made Gu Guan even more angry. Guwon hid Wolsim's identity from Do Do Hee and confessed his memories from when he was a human, blaming himself for saying that the woman he loved who was sacrificed died because of him. Also, in response to Gu Gu’s words that he was afraid that Do Do-hee would become unhappy because of him, Do Do-hee said, “I’m already unhappy without you. “If we are unhappy no matter what, let us be unhappy together,” he replied. Do Do-hee's unwavering sincerity calmed Gu Gu's anxious heart. Then, Guwon recalled the promise Lee Seon made to Wolsim and vowed to make it a happy ending this time. Do Do-hee and Gu-won's deep eye contact added to the feeling of affection and made people wonder about their fate.

Meanwhile, the sudden death of Noh Do-kyung (played by Kang Seung-ho) was shocking. Noh Do-kyung, whose everything collapsed due to pressure from Noh Seok-min (Kim Tae-hoon) and Kim Se-ra (Cho Yeon-hee)'s neglect, committed suicide after suffering from extreme anxiety and depression. Rather than mourning the death of his child, Noh Seok-min was worried that the company's image would be tarnished if it became known to the world, and Do-hee's suspicions about him deepened.

On this day, another crisis was predicted for Do Do-hee and Guwon. Following Joo Cheon-sook's (played by Kim Hae-sook) confession that "I saw the devil," the scene of Do Do-hee's parents' car accident in the past threw everyone into confusion. Joo Cheon-sook witnesses Gu Ha-won recovering the soul of a driver next to an overturned car.
