Singer Lee Chan-won's unrivaled performance led to the honor of winning the award.

According to his agency TN Entertainment on the 24th, Lee Chan-won won the grand prize in the reality category at the '2023 KBS Entertainment Awards' held the previous day.

Chan-won Lee held the trophy in his arms and said, "Actually, rather than receiving this award because I did well, I think they gave me this big award because I did a lot of work this year on the program that our great production staff created wonderfully. I think they gave it to me to encourage me to work harder next year. “I will work harder,” he said.

He continued, "There is a lot of hard work from many people from planning to airing a program. There are many people for whom I am grateful. Above all, I am grateful to all my beloved fans who came here in large numbers. Next year, I will work hard to deliver more pleasant fun and warm emotions. “I will do it,” he added, giving credit to those who helped him reach this position.

This year, Lee Chan-won played an active role in KBS's 'Immortal Songs', 'Problem Son of the Rooftop', and 'Pyeon Restaurant'. Lee Chan-won not only showed outstanding hosting skills as the MC of 'Immortal Songs' and 'The Problem Child of the Rooftop', but also showed off his versatility, such as giving a talk that was carefully considerate of the performers and utilizing knowledge as good as an encyclopedia.

Chan-won Lee received the Excellence Award in the Show and Variety category at the KBS Entertainment Awards last year. He then received the honor of winning this year's award, once again proving his potential as an MC and broadcaster.

Lee Chan-won, who has expanded his presence in broadcasting by being active in all directions, will hold a Seoul performance at the '2023 Lee Chan-won Concert Chance Appreciation Festival' until the 25th. Chan-won Lee is expected to spend a happy Christmas with his fans and present a warm end of the year as a singer.
