Ong Seong-wu "'Strong Woman Gangnam-soon' was a time to gain positive energy"
Ong Seong-wu left his thoughts on the end of JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Strong Woman Gangnam-soon'.

On the 27th, the agency Fantagio released Ong Seong-wu, who played the role of Kang Hee-sik, a detective from the Gangnam Han River District Drug Investigation Unit in 'Strong Woman Kang Nam-soon', his thoughts on the end of the show and a disappointing photo from the scene.

Ong Seong-wu said through his agency Fantagio, "I learned a lot while filming for about 9 months, and I think it was a good time to gain positive energy from meeting Heesik." He added, “I think I will be doing my national defense duty when the drama ends, so I will be even more curious about the reactions and thoughts of my comforters and viewers.”

Ong Seong-wu said, "And thanks to the support and concerns from those above me, I think I can end with a more grateful heart. It may seem like I'm saying 'goodbye', but I'll come back healthy and cool, so please wait." He continued, "I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who watched 'Strong Woman Gang Nam-soon', the director, writer, all staff, senior and junior actors, and everyone who loved Ong Seong-wu. Stay healthy until the day we meet again. Thank you. “I do,” he said.

Ong Seong-wu filled the small screen with his all-rounder charm through this work. He showed a deeper acting spectrum, ranging from a sweet and fresh romance with Kang Nam-soon (played by Lee Yu-mi) to charismatic rhetoric and explosive emotions. In particular, he even cross-dresses in the play, showing off his chemistry with Oh Young-tak (who plays Young-tak), and even showing off his mastery of comedic acting.

Despite taking on the role of a detective for the first time, Ong Seong-wu, who attracted attention with his character digestion, finished the drama with favorable reviews from viewers in each episode. Ong Seong-wu's eyes, accurate delivery of lines, and the way he moves between various genres add fun and emotion to the play. Accordingly, expectations are high to see what kind of acting variations he will perform when he returns from military service.
