Yoo Seon-ho becomes ace in ‘Broom Soccer’

In the 'Road to Santa's Village' special episode of KBS 2TV's '2 Days & 1 Night Season 4' (hereinafter referred to as '2 Days & 1 Night') aired on the 1st, the heart-warming travel stories of six men who transformed into Santas were depicted, and the viewer rating was 10.0% ( It ranked first in its time slot (provided by Nielsen Korea, based on households nationwide). At the end of the broadcast, the scene in which Moon Se-yoon, Din Din, and Na In-woo, who were supposed to sleep outdoors, lie down on the veranda and suddenly fall asleep with the window wide open along with the appearance of Hyun-woo PD, rose to the highest viewership rating of 14.1% per minute (based on households nationwide). The 2049 viewer rating also recorded 3.3% (based on households in the metropolitan area).
With Yeon Jeong-hoon, Moon Se-yoon, and Dindin becoming Santas prior to gift delivery, a team of members with the same color props was formed at the Buncheon Santa Village. With Yeon Jeong-hoon and Kim Jong-min, Moon Se-yoon and Yoo Seon-ho, and DinDin and Na In-woo teaming up, the 'Rose of Sharon has bloomed' competition to win the New Year's gift has begun. While Na In-woo was fighting back and forth with Moon Se-yoon and Yoo Seon-ho, Yeon Jeong-hoon succeeded in crossing the finish line by obtaining a set of bean jelly, cold weather gear, DinDin's CD, and even underwear. Kim Jong-min of the same team headed to the finish line barely carrying 20kg of rice.
Moon Se-yoon struggled because of other members who tried to hinder him, but teammate Yoo Seon-ho achieved satisfactory results by obtaining a fruit basket, millet seaweed, and Yeon Jeong-hoon bromide. Additionally, Na In-Woo and DinDin ended their noisy battle for gifts with a set of Korean beef and a set of instant rice.
Those who headed to the village shared the 'real' gifts that the residents wanted and left to find the person who received the gifts. '60 kg Rudolph' Yoo Seon-ho was unable to carry '120 kg Santa' Moon Se-yoon on his back, and was struggling to keep up, causing a feeling of irritation from the beginning. To make matters worse, they visited a house other than the one receiving the gift two times in a row, causing regret as they were unable to properly carry out their mission.
On the other hand, Dindin 'Din Santa' and In-woo 'Nadolph' Na inferred the owner of the gift by looking at the residents' nicknames before departure, and thanks to their height difference, they boasted a stable piggyback combination and completed their mission quickly. For a moment, Yeon Jeong-hoon is frustrated by Rudolph Kim Jong-min, who is leisurely and scheming, but also delivers a gift to Jumin, who is his 'big fan', and makes meaningful memories. In addition, Moon Se-yoon personally carried Yoo Seon-ho, who collapsed from exhaustion, and barely completed the mission, giving viewers a warm smile.
In the evening, a 3:3 relay race began using different means of transportation, from swings to hand palanquins, baemili, tricycles, and front rolls. While Yoo Seon-ho's team (Yeon Jeong-hoon, Kim Jong-min, and Yoo Seon-ho) won in the first round, where they had to eat more snacks thrown by their teammates on the swing, Moon Se-yoon succeeded in overtaking Yoo Seon-ho on Baemili. However, the feast of fouls continued, with 'King of Fouls' Yeon Jeong-hoon holding onto DinDin's body in the tricycle race, and Kim Jong-min running to the finish line with one last lap left in the final front-rolling contest.
Afterwards, Yoo Seon-ho's team transferred one of the menu items they had acquired, beef and vegetable rolls, to Na In-woo's team (Moon Se-yoon, Din Din, and Na In-woo) due to Kim Jong-min's fatal trick. They briefly showed envy at the opposing team's plentiful table setting of pine mushroom pancakes, beef and vegetable rolls, and shiitake mushroom japchae, and enjoyed a rich meal with bear odor pickles and pine mushroom casserole. Yeon Jeong-hoon and Kim Jong-min presented pine mushroom casserole to Na In-woo's team, and Moon Se-yoon finished the warm dinner by sharing a piece of mushroom with his younger siblings.
'Broom Soccer', a game played with a broom attached to one's back, was played to help the sleepers get lucky. The members faced difficulties due to the condition that they could not use their hands and feet. In the midst of the chaos, Yoo Seon-ho miraculously scored the first goal and became the ‘Ace Youngest’ with his energetic soccer performance. As the fierce match continued, Yeon Jeong-hoon, whose stamina was exhausted, fell on the field and displayed an unprecedented game of bed soccer(?), causing laughter from the viewers. The game ended in a close race, with everyone exhausted. In the end, Yoo Seon-ho's team was able to sleep indoors thanks to Yoo Seon-ho's performance.
