Moon Chae-won "I was scared, but I achieved my dream of working with Lee Sun-kyun."

On the 21st, an online production presentation for SBS' new Friday-Saturday drama 'The Law' was held. Director Lee Won-tae and actors Lee Sun-kyun, Moon Chae-won, Kang Yu-seok, and Park Hoon attended.
Lee Sun-gyun plays the role of Eun-yong, a reclusive money merchant. Moon Chae-won played the role of Park Jun-kyung, a former prosecutor and army major. Kang Yoo-seok plays Jang Tae-chun, a third-year prosecutor in the criminal department. Park Hoon appeared as Hwang Ki-seok, an elite prosecutor in the special department.
Moon Chae-won said, “I was scared because it was a genre and role I had never tried before, but I had a dream of working with senior Lee Sun-gyun. The fact that my senior said he would do it meant a lot to me. “When I met with the director, I fell in love with the director’s charm, so I wanted to participate,” he said. He continued, “I will take this opportunity to speak. “I achieved my dream,” he said with a smile.
Moon Chae-won said, "It wasn't easy to come up with a person to use as a motif. I started with myself. I watched dramas and movies similar to 'The Beopjon' over and over again. I watched the works that the actors here appeared in and the works that the director did. “I received help in that regard,” he said.
In the play, Park Jun-kyung's mother gets caught up in Hwang Ki-seok's (Park Hoon) conspiracy and makes an extreme choice. After his mother's death, Park Jun-kyung joins the military, becomes a judicial officer, and prepares for cold revenge. Moon Chae-won said, “Even if it actually happened, I would risk everything to try to resolve my mother’s injustice, so it wasn’t difficult for me to become immersed in it. In the process of creating the role, I couldn't think of a starting point, so I started from myself. “It felt like a natural beginning for me,” he said.
'Law' is a thrilling revenge drama between 'money salesman' Eun-yong and 'legal technician' Jun-kyung who fight against the cartel of 'Law' and 'Jjen'. Writer Kim Won-seok of the dramas 'The Queen's Classroom' and 'Descendants of the Sun' wrote the book, and director Lee Won-tae of the movies 'The Villain' and 'Captain Kim Chang-soo' directed it. It will be aired for the first time at 10pm on the 6th.
