Kim Wan-seon “It’s been 5 years since we last had a concert, and guests are willing to help us”

Singer Kim Wan-seon, who is celebrating his 38th year since debut, announced that he will be holding a solo concert for the first time in 5 years and that he will be making a special guest appearance.

On JTBC's 'Newsroom' broadcast on the 5th, singer Kim Wan-seon, who is in her 38th year of debut, appeared and told her story.

Kim Wan-seon appeared on the university festival stage with Lee Hyo-ri, BoA, and Hwasa through tvN's 'Dance Singer Wandering Troupe', which aired in June this year. He said, "I was so excited that day. The last time I performed in front of so many young people was when I was a teenager. I was also afraid that these people would know me."

He continued, "Before I went on stage, I said, 'I'm going to sing for one of the deans here.' When the students sang along and gave me energy with their happy expressions, I felt like I was flying in the sky. My feet were on the ground." “I thought it wasn’t attached,” he added.

Kim Wan-seon said, "I think the reason I was able to do that (activity) was because I just kept going. Just because I couldn't see myself on screen didn't mean I stopped working and didn't sing. Even though I wasn't visible, I continued to work in different places. I also recorded music. “I think I’ve been able to do that until now because I kept singing and dancing on stage,” he said.

Kim Wan-seon, who has been in his 38th year since his debut, chose his time as a trainee as his brightest moment. He said, "Of course, if you ask me that question again, I think I shine the brightest now. The reason I talked about my time as a trainee is because I had a lot of passion and dreams back then. I think it was a time when I was very greedy. That's why I talked about my time as a trainee. “In fact, I think this is the brightest moment in my life,” he said emphatically.

Also, "The process before going on stage is really painful. You have to practice, but you can't do it this much. But when you go up on stage and perform, all that time is forgotten in an instant. That's why I think I keep doing this." did.

Kim Wan-seon said, "I think my old songs were ones that expressed me well. I think there will be changes as I get older. I like the lyrics of the song, 'Clierot laughs at us.' That song knows me a lot and a few people know me well. “The lyrics were written by someone who has been watching me for years, so I think they best express my feelings,” he explained.

Kim Wan-seon is scheduled to release a hit song. He said, "These days, I've been working with new instruments and a certain sound system, and I thought it was really good back then, but it's good again. So I thought it was too wasteful to just leave it like this, and I thought I should release it as a sound source again, so I plan to record the song again and release an album." He said. In addition, they plan to hold a solo concert for the first time in five years. Kim Wan-seon said, "I feel like my expectations have become too high, so that's what I'm most worried about. But what can I do? I have to do it now. I've got my feet wet again, so I have to run hard."

It was revealed that Kim Wan-seon's solo concert will feature a special guest that no one expected. Kim Wan-seon said, "I didn't expect it either. This is the first time that such wonderful people willingly offered to help me. I'm getting emotional even as I say this. Until now, when I needed help, there was no one I could ask for, and no one even offered to give me (help). The first thing I said was, 'As expected, people should live for a long time.' That wasn't the end of my life. I think another good day like this will come. All I can do is be faithful to myself at this moment. “It’s the same,” he said.
