Ha Jung-woo, 'absurd' in his first entertainment show 'Life and Trouble'

Ha Jung-woo, Ju Ji-hoon, Choi Min-ho, and Yeo Jin-goo volunteered to work hard to send young people on a trip. This is through TVing’s new entertainment show ‘Ticketing with Two Feet’. Ha Jung-woo and Ju Ji-hoon are new to regular entertainment. Ha Jung-woo made people laugh by saying that he realized the hardships of reality and was even embarrassed.

On the 19th, an online production presentation for TVING's new original entertainment show 'Ticketing with Two Feet' was held. Producer Lee Se-young and program cast members Ha Jung-woo, Ju Ji-hoon, Choi Min-ho, and Yeo Jin-goo attended.

'Ticketing with Both Feet' is a 'vicarious hardship road trip' in which Ha Jung-woo, Ju Ji-hoon, Choi Min-ho, and Yeo Jin-goo come together to travel the southern tip of New Zealand and strive to send more young people on a trip. They form the 'Dream Group' and perform various unexpected missions to obtain travel tickets to give as gifts to young people.

‘Ticketing with Two Feet’ is the first entertainment show presented by producer Lee Se-young, who was in charge of ‘All The Butlers’ and ‘Circle House’, after leaving SBS. PD Lee expressed his feelings, "I'm nervous, but it's an honor to greet you with the four of you. I'm both excited and burdened because it seems like a lot of people are showing interest." He continued, "I like traveling. I remember the first backpacking trip I went on when I was a college student. I felt many things while seeing new scenery and people, but the biggest feeling was a sense of liberation. Unfortunately, I don't think young people have been able to feel that feeling these past few years due to the coronavirus. “I started planning this while thinking about what it would be like to give travel as a gift to young people,” he said.

PD Lee said that what differentiates it from other travel programs is that “it is not about their own journey on the screen, but rather about the real journey of young people. And the more the four of you work hard, the more happy people there are.” He continued, "Many people asked me how I was recruited. I didn't even know I could do it. I think I sympathized with the purpose of sending young people on a trip to countries beyond the blue sky."

PD Lee chose Ha Jung-woo and Yeo Jin-goo as a couple with unexpected chemistry. PD Lee said, "The two are seniors and juniors at Chung-Ang University, 19 years apart. Sometimes they are friends, sometimes they are seniors, and sometimes they are like father and son. Yeo Jin-goo is like his father."

Ha Jung-woo, who is new to regular travel entertainment, said, "I can't explain it. When I received the plan, I vaguely thought it would be fun. I thought I wanted to go on a trip. Above all, Ju Ji-hoon's name was on the plan, so I got to do it with Ji-hoon. “I thought something might come out if I watched it. The reason is simple,” he said, explaining the reason for his appearance. Joo Ji-hoon also said, "I also heard that four people are doing this. But 'Jungwoo hyung won't do it, right?' I wanted to. It was because I had never done a regular entertainment show before. I thought this plan would fall through. At the time, I was filming a movie called ‘Kidnapped’ with my brother, and one day he suddenly called and asked, ‘What is this?’ I said, ‘I will do it if my brother shows up.’ "I have experience working with Minho and Jingu and we are close friends, but I didn't have the confidence to lead this. So I said I would do it if my brother did it," he said.

Ha Jung-woo realized the ‘life and hardships’ of reality entertainment. He said, "Isn't this my first time doing an entertainment show like this? I thought I would have time to reorganize. Are Jihoon and the kids scolding me because it's my first time?" I thought so. The first three days were an absurd and tiring time. They put my trunk on the street so I could change clothes. It was also so cold. It was absurd things. I don’t remember much about the first three or four days. I think I’ll have to watch the broadcast to find out.” He confessed.

When asked if there was a new side of Joo Ji-hoon that he discovered, Ha Jung-woo made people laugh by saying, "His cooking skills have improved considerably over the years. And, hey, the tension has increased a lot. He dances a lot. It was a rediscovery."

Ju Ji-hoon previously knew all three other actors. Joo Ji-hoon said, "I traveled a lot with Jungwoo. We went on a lot of long-term trips. I saw more of him than I just discovered. However, because it was filming, I drank less than when I was traveling and it was nice to be able to talk a lot. "he said. He continued, "Minho was 24 years old when I first saw him. Even now, he is still a firework, but back then he was a blue flame, but now he is a more mature yellow flame. I thought he was already over 30 years old." He also said, "I saw Jin Goo when he was 9 or 10 years old. He had armpit hair. He had more charcoal," making everyone burst into laughter.

It is said that Ha Jung-woo and Ju Ji-hoon called each other ‘girl’. Ha Jung-woo said, "Our Ji-eun (Ju Ji-hoon) is quite obsessed with the color pink. I saw him walking in a pink suit at an awards ceremony, and that's when I started studying him. When I saw his eating habits and things like that, I saw that he had the appearance of a middle school girl. “I think she is a girl because her lifestyle and dressing style are ‘girly girl style.’”

Joo Ji-hoon said, "When you meet Jungwoo in person, he has a somewhat genderless feel. He has a macho appearance and a thick, cool voice, but when he travels, he cooks and cleans, and he has a delicate side. Of course, he cleans, but the boy is also an adult. "I do everything, but my brother is very delicate. I've been growing plants at home for the past 10 years, and I also raise a dog," he said. He continued, “Psy said, ‘I heard from Jungwoo that you are a tall girl.’ When I saw him capture that image, I thought, ‘My brother is a girl too.’”

When asked if there were any memorable people among the young people who sent him on the trip, Ha Jung-woo replied, "I remember the reactions of judo players and students attending Yongin University. I guess the production crew told me in advance, but their reactions were good. It was rewarding to have a video call." . PD Lee laughed, saying, “I can’t even control that.” Ha Jung-woo said, "It's rewarding. There were a few doubtful moments, but it's rewarding to be able to give a good gift to the youth through our vicarious suffering."

Choi Min-ho said, "Isn't it the brothers' first time doing entertainment shows? I was worried because you need to be comfortable to come up with interesting pictures. But I thought I was worried for no reason. I thought it was not the first time, but a few times," and "There wasn't a moment when it wasn't fun. “The PD must have had a lot of parts that he didn’t want to edit,” he said, confident of the fun.

When Choi Min-ho was asked to choose the level of hardship for this program from 1 to 10, he answered “9.” Ha Jung-woo laughed and said, “SHINee’s Minho would probably be able to score a 9.” Choi Min-ho said, “It was easy for me too. The bike was not easy either.”

Yeo Jin-goo said, "I've appeared on travel entertainment a few times before, so I was wondering if there was something new to show. And when I heard that these people were appearing, I thought, 'Seniors are doing it? I think I should look into it again.'" He added, "The older brothers also appeared. He explained the reason for his appearance by saying, “If we work hard, we can give travel tickets to young people, so there was no reason not to do it.” When asked if he had any know-how as this is his third travel variety show, Yeo Jin-goo laughed and said, “I don’t think I have the know-how yet.”

Ha Jung-woo laughed, saying that Choi Min-ho and Yeo Jin-goo "helped us a lot both internally and externally. Minho took the lead in making requests like 'Please take a shower', and Yeo Jin-goo took care of us right behind us."

Ju Ji-hoon said that Choi Min-ho and Yeo Jin-goo's physical strength was weaker than he thought. Choi Min-ho said that he rode a bicycle for the first time through this entertainment show. He confessed, “If it weren’t for Jihoon, I wouldn’t have been able to come back from New Zealand.” Joo Ji-hoon said, “As expected, Minho, the ‘Fiery Charismatic Marine Corps Search Team’, tried to ride harder than anyone else.” Minho Choi said, "I thought it would be more difficult if I rode lightly. I reflected on it. After that, I learned how to ride a bicycle this way from my brother."

Yeo Jin-goo confessed that Ha Jung-woo and Ju Ji-hoon's physical strength was "amazing every day." Yeo Jin-goo said, "I've never felt like I lacked physical strength, but my hyungs even went for a walk in the morning before filming. I could see how well my seniors maintained their physical strength. I thought I should also improve my basic physical strength."

When asked whether he exercised in the morning because he was getting less sleep or because he had better physical strength, Ha Jung-woo made people laugh by saying, "It varies from time to time. I guess I want to greet the morning in good condition." When asked if other members also felt a difference in physical strength, they said, "Everyone was amazing. We hiked and ran, but everyone did it without difficulty."

Ha Jung-woo told us about each person’s role. Ha Jung-woo said, "Minho was like the external cooperation team. We conveyed our opinions to the production team and discussed with them. Jin-gu led through brainstorming. In baseball terms, he was a catcher. I was in charge of the kitchen, driving, and running errands. Ha Jung-woo volunteered to be ‘Uncle’ and earned the nickname ‘Hajeossi’. Ha Jung-woo said, "I like to call myself brother or oppa. The word 'mister' has a friendly feel to it. 'I'll do it, uncle' is something I often use these days." Ju Ji-hoon is said to have been called ‘Hoon Mom’ because he prepared meals with motherly taste.

Ha Jung-woo said, “This is my first time doing a program like this. I hope you enjoy watching it.” Joo Ji-hoon made people laugh by jokingly saying, "The title is 'Ticketing with two feet,' but the feeling was 'Ticketing with all fours.' My shoulder blades hurt a lot." Minho Choi was confident, “The chemistry between the four of us is the best.” Yeo Jin-goo asked, “It contains a lot of our honest and fun moments along with picturesque scenery, so please watch it a lot.” PD Lee said, "Four people worked hard to give travel tickets to many young people.
